Valentine's Day Outfits from Express

Pink Double Weave Flutter Sleeve Coat (This one and this one are adorable, too.) / Ruffled Button Blouse (Here’s another great option.) / Dolce Vita Sayer Mules (I went a half size up. Also love the Colsen Sandals, the Grant Flats, and the Kyle Leopard Flats.) / Maternity Jeans / Newer Woven Crossbody Bag / Mitch’s Liberty London Tie, Gingham Shorts, and Performance Shirt

I need to tell you a funny story.

This was the one brand partnership that Mitch and I planned on shooting while in Florida, and we somehow forgot the tripod and remote. (#killingit) So we set up the camera on our Airbnb’s trashcan and voilà! Only took 15 shots and lots of running to get one relatively straight and in focus. Ahhhh, behind the scenes of blogging. 😂

But I love these outfits–perfect for Valentine’s Day–from Express. Our first week here was unexpectedly chilly, so I very much appreciated them, too. And are you not so amazed by how classic they are?! I’ve long thought of Express as a trendier company, which it definitely is… but the store has so many other options as well. I mean, hello, cutest Liberty London tie for the best price! And I adore this gorgeous ruffled button-down, which I know I’ll get a lot of use out of even after I have the baby. And while my ruffled coat unfortunately sold out before this post went live, definitely check out this one and this one. Because every preppy girl needs a pink coat in her wardrobe!

I’ve included some additional classic finds above. :) The best part, though, is that there’s a great promotion going on right now: 25 percent off orders of $100+ with code “7417” or 15 percent off any order with code “7408,” now through February 28th. (This is also valid in-store.) There are a few exclusions which you can check out here, but most products are included!

Right now, Mitch and I don’t have solid plans for Valentine’s Day, but my parents are actually flying in that weekend for a little visit, so we’re thinking of skipping the traditional couples dinner and doing a fun little family party at the house instead–with cookie-decorting, arts and crafts, and a cute kids’ movie. Mitch will have to trade in his takeout plans and his adorable gingham shorts for pants, haha, but that’s okay. ;) Oh! I did already get Emma’s Valentine’s Day gift, though, so I’m kind of on track?! It’s a Peppa Pig’s red car, along with some “Frozen” figurines because she’s super into making toys talk to each other right now. So cute.

Do you have plans for Valentine’s Day? Would love to hear, considering we’re all in such different life stages right now!

xoxo
