I always drag my feet with holiday decorating. It’s such a daunting job! Worth it in the end, yes, but oof. 😜

But this year, Mitch surprised me and put up all the outdoor garland while I was upstairs cleaning. It was the best Christmas gift anyone could have given me this year. 😆 Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sweet Husband!

He did, however, save the bow for me. ;) That’s a “Kelly job” for sure. I wish you could have seen his attempt last year, haha. We were both doubled over.

But let’s pause for a moment to appreciate this $36 (🤯) tartan bow dress that you must own this holiday season. First of all, the bow. (Which is clearly the theme of this post.) Can you even get over it?! I thought it was going to be hard to tie, but I tied it like I would ribbon on a present and it came out looking like this. So pretty! Second, the top is attached to the skirt, so there is absolutely no weird bunching or poofing. Third, it has pockets. Enough said, right?

Some other things you should know about what I’m wearing here, including sizing:

$36 Blackwatch Plaid Dress: I’m wearing a small here. I assumed I would need the XS, but the bow really cinches everything in perfectly with the larger size. So don’t worry too much about sizing! If in between sizes, I might go with the one up just for comfort. I mean, who doesn’t plan on eating one zillion cookies this month?

$37.99 C.Wonder Black Booties: These prices! I didn’t need to wear stockings with them on this particular day since we’ve been blessed with some fabulous weather lately, but I know they’ll look great with sheers, leggings or jeans when temps drop. TTS, though I do always go up a half size in boots (in general) for thicker socks and comfort.

$11.50 Headband: Looks just like the crazy-expensive one for essentially pennies. ;) Highly recommend! I have it in the black and the gold, and both make such a statement.

C.Wonder Bag: I use this a LOT. It’s the perfect size now that I don’t need a huge diaper bag, and it can be dressed down or up. I love it in black, too.
