I’m always taking quick pics of outfits with the intention of including them in “What I Wore” posts, but then… life. 😜 Here, though, are a few outfits I wore recently.
I wore the above look out to a nice dinner with friends and then afterwards to Mitch’s cousin’s DJ session at “The Store” in Lincoln Park. I wanted something that would work in both (very different) environments, and the dress worked perfectly for the entire night. Because it’s linen, it’s extremely lightweight… but I also love that the puff sleeves keep my arms covered for over-air-conditioned spaces. The dress comes in white and blue, too!
En Saison Dress Here and Here / Amazon Sandals / Dainty Dana Rebecca Necklace (It’s also on Nordstrom.com.) / Black Iron Cabinet / Similar Pendant Chandelier / Rouzati Stair Runner / Framebridge Triptych Frames
Stop the presses for this little number, available here and here. I wore this to Sammy’s rehearsal dinner on Nantucket, but I’ve also worn it a couple of times out and about in Chicago. I would say that it runs a little on the smaller side; I went up one size and it was perfect. The back is kind of open, so keep that in mind with bras! (I just go without, but I realize many people are a bit more blessed than I am in that department.)
This is the summer of Amazon dresses! You can shop all my faves here. So my sister-in-law got me hooked on them, and I’m now all in. They’re amazing, and so affordable! Most of them come out of the washing machine looking perfect, too. I order most in a size small, if you’re interested in trying. :) The one I’m wearing in the above photo also comes in a sleeveless version!
Newer Dress, and love this other Little Red Dress! / Newer Tote / Sneakers / Dainty Dana Rebecca Necklace (It’s also on Nordstrom.com.) / Similar Pendant Chandelier / Rouzati Stair Runner / Framebridge Triptych Frames
This is one of my all-time favorite dresses, but it’s sadly a few years old. How about this super similar one, though?! Would be so cute for the Fourth of July. :)
Old Reformation Dress (Though this newer one is SO similar!) / Dainty Dana Rebecca Necklace (It’s also on Nordstrom.com.) / Slippers (Hehe.) / Rug / Duvet Cover / Bed / Newer Chair / Pillow / Throw Blanket / Curtains / Mirror
I initially got this dress (newer version here) to wear to Sammy’s wedding but then felt it was too white. (I hadn’t been to a wedding in years so I suppose I was a little out of practice with wedding guest outfit planning!) Love it so much, though, and I plan on wearing it to our next date night. I call it my chinoiserie dress!
