Striped Swing Top c/o (Also can’t WAIT to wear this one! Eeeee!) / Skinny Jeans (Excited to try this similar pair soon, too.) / Quilted Tote Bag (Larger size here. Backpack here.) / Vineyard Vines Hat c/o (Sold out, but these are my FAVORITE hats, and they’re back in stock!) / Scalloped Sandals (The light brown version is on major sale! The gold is on sale, too. More affordable version here!)
Yes, the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale is in full-swing, but I’m taking a little break from that today (haha!) for something exciting: the striped swing top is BACK! Though you can see some of my faves from the Nordstrom sale here, and this is a fun post about what I tried on at the physical store on Michigan Avenue! Anyway, I’ve received so many messages asking about the swing top that I thought I’d write a post about everything you need to know about it. :)
Even more exciting: Now through Monday, May 29th, you can take 20 percent off your Tuckernuck order of $200 or more with code “SUMMER.” Yay! Shop my favorites above.
It’s from Tuckernuck, and it’s just as fabulous as it looks.
Some quick notes:
It’s “one size fits all.” I know: this scared me at first, too. But it really does fit everyone. I’ve had a ton of friends and family members borrow it or throw it on, and it truly looks amazing on women of all shapes and sizes. There’s quite a bit of material, but it hangs wonderfully no matter what your body type!
The material is thick yet it holds up well after washing. It also doesn’t pill! And from what I’ve found, you can pair the top with either dark or white jeans. I tend to go the dark jean route, just because I feel like it pops a little more, but again: you can’t go wrong. I also think it would look great with red pants! (No?)
Is it worth it? Yes. As I mentioned, I get so many compliments on and questions about the top, and it’s perfect for travel. It’s definitely going everywhere with me this summer!
While you’re at it, this new bow-backed sweater (also from Tuckernuck) is a-dor-able. I ordered it for my trip back East, and I’m already excited about pairing it with a gingham button-down like the model did on the boat. (Listen. No time for originality around here, haha.)
And a final note: I’m wearing these scalloped sandals by Loeffler Randall, but the brown and gold versions are currently on sale. Here’s a WAY more affordable version, too. (Shopbop carries a ton of Loeffler Randall, too. I love this pair, which is on sale!)
Hope you guys have a great day! Let me know if you have any questions.
xx

20 percent off with code “SUMMER.” Love, guys.
These are also on major sale! I actually think this outfit would look way cuter with the red ones. :)
BAH! I can’t believe it’s back. :) Swoop it up while you can! Sells out quickly.
This dress just came in and I love it!
This new shirt dress?!
Shooting this over the weekend. Stay tuned; I’m SO excited!
My favorite straw bag — holds a TON and the little tassel is removable. I attach a ton of different scarves for different outfits.
Great top for a great price!
Doesn’t this look like the navy one I have?! I love it! So summery!
I have this in the solid blue, and I wear it SO often. I need to get some pics up on the blog soon. :)
Rebecca Taylor kills me. Did I tell you that I hosted an event with her last year?! One of the best days ever and I want to be her. ;)
Love this one, too!
CAN’T GET OVER THE PRICE. The original one was SO expensive!
And this is just darling.
Striped espadrilles!
I’m not crazy about short dresses this year, but this one has me rethinking that…
