Old Navy Sweater ($19.99!) / Lisi Lerch Necklace (c/o) / J.Crew Jeans (Old, similar here and here) and Earrings / Madewell Transport Tote / Kate Spade Sunnies (Old, newer styles here) and Bow Ring (Old, but love this one!) / Daniel Wellington Watch (c/o) / Chinese Laundry Booties
In the fall, I did a shoot for The Every Girl in which I styled a few pieces from Old Navy’s winter line. (So much fun, by the way. And the beginning of my #blogwife friendship with Jess. Awwww.) It was then that I discovered this sweater–the sweater that Maya and I are calling “The Sweater of the Year.”
We can’t get enough of the thing. It’s perfect. It’s super soft, has a mock turtleneck that doesn’t strangle, is surprisingly warm, and is slightly longer in the back so it can worn with leggings. (So cute when paired with heels! Totally acceptable “going out” attire for chilly nights.) It also features that super preppy Aran cable knit design. And it’s affordable. ($19.99!)
I wear my gray one constantly. So much so that my friends joke that it’s the only sweater I own. So this past weekend, I went out and picked up the white one. How could I not? It’s the most versatile piece in my closet right now! I wear it with jeans, leggings and dress pants–and I often throw it over skirts and dresses.
The sweater is selling out in stores, so my guess is that it won’t be available online for very much longer. So act quickly! :)
Styling tip: Order a size up, and always scrunch the sleeves. (See below photo!)
