I’m excited to be teaming up with Cole Haan again today (!) to feature an extremely comfortable pair of day-to-night jaguar booties… and I’m going to try my best to maintain my composure.

There are a lot of animal print shoes out there, but truly comfy ones are a little hard to come by. I can’t tell you how many I’ve purchased over the year that have ended up in the donation pile. Yes, I have sensitive feet… but sheesh! The stiffness that comes along with most quality pairs–particularly the nicer calf hair ones!–is a killer.
Cole Haan, of course, solves all probs in that department. In today’s post, I’m wearing the Grand Ambition Booties, which have a heavenly amount of padding in ’em. They are, by far, the best animal print booties I’ve ever owned, and I’ve tried a good amount! First, they require absolutely zero break-in time. Second, they have structure to them yet they don’t rub. (I’m on my feet a lot throughout the day, and I genuinely have never felt ANY pain. I actually walked miles in them last weekend without a single issue, even in the heel/ankle areas which are normally problematic for me.) Third, they’re insanely nice. Note the small piece of gold metal on the toes. It’s there so that they don’t scarf. Genius, no?! And I just love how the low heel, which provides some extra height without compromising comfort… and that the heel features the calf hair, too. Winners!
Btw: In terms of sizing, I took these in a size 8, which is what I normally order in boots. (I’m actually a size 7.5, but I like having a little extra room in boots so I can wear heavier socks. Chicago winters, ugh.) So I would say that they run TTS.
