GUYS, I’M SO EXCITED!
I’m partnering with COLE HAAN today to share some fall favorites! I’m a Cole Haan mega fan, haha. I’ve been one since my first year out of college, when my mom got me a pair of the brand’s pumps when I told her how ripped up my feet were from running around the city in heels. (Thank you, Mom!) They were–and remain–ah-mah-zing. All Cole Haan shoes and bags are, really. I love everything and sometimes need to not look at the website for the sake of my bank account. 😂
So yeah. I’m freaking out a little bit right now. ;)
But let’s get to it! Here’s what I’m featuring in this post:
Grand Ambition Leather Backpack
I’ve wanted a leather backpack for a while now, as they’re both beautiful and super practical. (Great for times when I need to be totally hands-free! Which is basically all the time. 😉) The Grand Ambition one is stunning, and everything I could want in a backpack. It’s made of pebbled leather, and it features gold hardware and tons of interior pockets for all the girls’ needs. The interior is also water-resistant (which any mom would love), and it’s very easy to wipe clean.
It also has a padded laptop sleeve that fits my 15-inch Macbook Pro! That’s HUGE for me. Most bags don’t fit it, and even when I find one that does, it usually ends up killing my left shoulder since it’s so heavy. The backpack, though, evenly distributes the weight of the laptop and makes life so much easier. Eventually, when my computer hits the road, I think I’ll invest in an Air simply because I’m on the go so much. But for now, this is so wonderful and I can’t believe I finally have something that works!
Finally, Grand Ambition backpack’s straps adjust so you can also style it as a crossbody or long shoulder bag. I love the backpack setup so much that I haven’t used this functionality much yet, but wouldn’t that be nice for travel?! The straps have seven holes in them, too, so they’re very adjustable.
Overall, an A+ from Kelly Larkin for this bag!
Grand Ambition Leopard Skimmer Flat
This pair of leopard flats–which I also love in black and rose–is designed for women who spend a lot of time on their feet, whether they’re at work, commuting or walking around the city. They don’t require any breaking in, and they have a cushioned sockliner that redistributes weight so you never feel pain in spots that normally give you trouble.
Finally, their construction hugs the contours of your foot for the most exact fit you could possibly get. I don’t know about you guys, but I have a few pairs of leopard flats in my closet that I keep around because they’re cute… but I can’t make it too long in them because they end up hurting after a few hours. So nice to have a pair that I can wear for a full day and not even notice them! (FYI: I did go down a half size, so definitely read the reviews for more sizing info. If you’re in between sizes, I might recommend going down by a half.)
