After work yesterday, Mitch and I drove up to Connecticut to see Beth and Tara, my two best girlfriends from college (and bridesmaids!) and their fabulous husbands, who live around the corner from each other. It was a long drive, but completely worth it! Oh, NYC/southern Connecticut traffic. This is why I’m wearing my favorite and most comfortable jeans from Hudson in these pictures. (My Hudson jeans here, also available here and here.) If I know I’m going to be in traffic, Hudsons are a must. If you don’t already own a pair, I suggest investing. Totally worth it. And RueLaLa has them on sale often! Together, over pizza and extraordinarily good beer (thanks, Matt), we relaxed and decompressed from the week.

Every time we go up to Connecticut to see our friends, I am reminded of how lucky I am. While we may not see each other as much as we used to, when we get together it’s just like it was in college. Well, maybe not exactly how things were in college. ;) But I’m sure you know what I mean.
I’m pretty excited because I’ll be seeing Beth and Tara again at the end of May. We’re going to Nantucket for my bachelorette party. Cannot wait. Today, though, I’m headed to the Upper West Side for Bachelorette Party, Round 1, New York City style. ;) I have a ton of girlfriends from the city who are getting married this year, so we decided to all get together and have a joint celebration together. I’m pumped! We’re starting off at Magnolia Bakery, and then getting our nails done, going out for sushi, and going to a wine bar. Who knows where else the night will take us… ;)
