Recent Find includes this yellow jacket and stripped shirt

Aaaaand we’re back! I hit snooze on the Recent Finds series in August because of the chaos that defined my life then. Really nothing too bad; just summer travel, not adhering to a schedule, and the presence of an (adorable) infant. 😜

But fall is approaching, and I’m starting to look forward to switching my closet over. Of course, I can’t fit into most of it, haha, but that’s why the fashion gods invented leggings, right? ;)

Anyway, here’s what’s at the top of my list right now!

Boom! Love this sweater by Lilly. The company makes some of my favorite everyday sweaters, and I have a navy striped one that looks very much like this. (Remember to enter my Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale giveaway, btw!)

The perfect basic black dress that can be worn year-round.

Jack Rogers just released some fall sandals, and I’m here for it. If you live in a warmer climate and don’t get much of a fall, these would be perfect!

I don’t normally feature kids’ stuff in this series, but HAD TO this time. Just ordered these for Emma. I can’t. But I can. And I did.

YES. The Everlane cashmere sweater dress is back and adorable as ever. Runs large. But it’s perfect. I like it exactly how the model is styling it here, haha.

Have you heard of & Other Stories? The company carries some amazing sweaters; the stuff that Pinterest dreams are made of.

Isn’t this beautiful?

Love this paired with a crisp white button-down underneath.

#60daysofplaid, I’m ready for you. And no, we’re not going with #90daysofplaid. You’re welcome. Love, Crazy

Doesn’t this look unbelievably cozy? It’s supposed to be super soft.

NOODLE TOP. NOODLE TOP. NOODLE TOP.

…That is all.

Yes. I could see myself frolicking amongst horses with this bag on my arm. Except I’m terrified of horses.

A have-forever traditional scarf.

I’ve been contemplating this blazer and I think the answer is YES.

I wish these weren’t so expensive because I’m loving them. I love a low chunky heel. Comfort + style all in one. ;)

A corduroy trench! Yay or nay? I’m kind of leaning towards nay, haha.

BUT THIS. Yes to all of it.

Another Pinterest dreams sweater.

A flowy houndstooth dress. Ugh. Guys. My own Recent Finds post is killing me. I love everything.

I’m all for blankets disguised as clothing.

Cord blazer, though: 100 percent. The trench was just taking it a little too far.

Welcome to my closet, you little heavenly pink softness.

Yes. I’ve had a glass of wine. It’s fine.

I’m always after pretty basics that make getting dressed easier in the morning. This is one of them.

I wish I was the type of girl who could fit everything she needs into a bag this size. HA. I use up literally the entire undercarriage area of our stroller.

BEST. DRESS. PANTS. EVER.

Seriously; by them now. They’re pull-on and suck you in in the best way. Definitely getting this color for the fall!

Another awesome basic that you don’t have to dry-clean!

PSA: J.Crew Factory now carries FAUX LEATHER PANTS. And they’re affordable!

It’s back. You’re welcome.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think it’s time that I transitioned to high-waisted jeans. I resisted for the LONGEST time, but I think I’ve finally realized that high-waisted denim is more flattering… and far easier when you’re doing a lot of bending down. (#momlife) I’m considering this pair from Hudson…

And this pair, too.

But I’ve also heard that Madewell makes some killer high-waisted jeans. Any advice?!

Okay, sorry. One more. Looks like my retro Patagonia vest! Two thumbs up.
