And it’s here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access begins today, and now everyone can shop. :)
- Here are 15 recommendations for in-stock products. So many of my favorites are still available! As I said yesterday, I either have ESPN (🤪) or bad taste. Whatever; not overthinking it. 😆
- Today, be sure to enter to win $500 to shop the sale. I’ll be choosing a winner and contacting her late night tonight. Entering is ridiculously quick and easy. All you have to do is comment on this post!
- Here is my complete guide to shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Keep in mind that while Nordstrom doesn’t technically re-stock, returns come in frequently, and chances are that you’ll be able to score something that was previously sold out as you keep an eye on it.
- Here is my other try-on session!
These are WONDERFUL and you need them. Seriously. They’re wildly comfortable, as they stretch like crazy yet don’t stretch OUT, if that makes sense. I have a size small from my non-pregnant days and a size large from pregnancy, and both still work. It’s crazy. So don’t worry about sizing too much! They elevate every outfit and make you look like you have it all together even though you feel like you never changed out of your PJs. Nordstrom’s Faux Leather Leggings are under $29 and a great alternative.
$39.90 Steve Madden “Feather Loafer” (Solid colors here)
THE WINNER OF THE NORDSTROM SALE. Holy, guys. They’re fantastic. They’re extremely flexible and require absolutely no break-in time. Definitely one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever tried, and right out of the box, too! I ordered my true size (7.5) in the leopard, and they’re perfect. Not tight in the slightest. I have read, however, that the solid version runs a little small and you might consider going up a half size. Idk, though.
This is a great basic! It’s very long, so it would look great with leggings… but it’s easily tucked into jeans, too. (Though a bit too long for a French or half tuck.) Such a good deal and many colors to choose from. TTS.
Here’s the the Leith one! Again, it’s very, very soft; comes in a ton of colors; and it’s only $39.90. A solid deal!
I sized down to an XS. I’m wearing the blush here, but I love the beige, olive and black as well.
Yes yes yes. A lovely reader told me how wonderfully soft this oversized jean jacket was, and she was 100-percent right. SUCH a great find. Keep checking back for restocks, but you can also find it in stock via Madewell itself. As the name suggests, it’s oversized, so I’d probably size down. Love that it covers my butt!
Blondo Sydney Waterproof Booties (Other options are the Blondo Valli Waterproof Bootie, the Cole Haan Waterproof Bootie and the Lucky Brand Lilka Suede Bootie.) / Madewell Balboa Oversized Jean Jacket (Also available at Madewell) / Spanx Faux Leather Leggings / $15.90 Caslon Striped Tee (Short-Sleeved here)
$99.90 Blondo Sydney Waterproof Booties (Other options are the Blondo Valli Waterproof Bootie, the Cole Haan Waterproof Bootie and the Lucky Brand Lilka Suede Bootie.)
YAY FOR BLONDO. It’s a company that specializes in waterproof boots and shoes that don’t look it, and I can’t get enough. I typically go a half size up in Blondo. HUGE fan. That chunky heels makes ’em extra comfy, too!
Blondo Elvina Waterproof Booties (Other options include the Blondo Sydney Waterproof Booties, the Blondo Valli Waterproof Bootie, the Cole Haan Waterproof Bootie and the Lucky Brand Lilka Suede Bootie.) / Madewell Balboa Oversized Jean Jacket (Also available at Madewell) / Spanx Faux Leather Leggings / Caslon Striped Tee (Short-Sleeved here)
These are very good, though not as comfortable as the Sydney. And despite the waterproof factor, the light color really makes me nervous as I live with two adorable tornadoes. (Four if you count Mitch and Noodle, haha.)
Wubby Pullover / Blondo Sydney Waterproof Booties (Other options are the Blondo Valli Waterproof Bootie, the Cole Haan Waterproof Bootie and the Lucky Brand Lilka Suede Bootie.) / Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
Everyone loves this thing, including me. It’s just so cuddly and FLUFFY. Size down, though; it’s on the larger side and if you’re not careful you can end up looking like a Furby. But man is it great when the weather starts to cool. Kids love snuggling into it, too, haha.
Very soft and clearly high quality, but the waist was too snug for me and didn’t pass the “Sit Test.” (Uncomfortable and I can’t imagine sitting at my desk all day in ’em!) The knees were also a little baggy.
Honestly, same review with this one! I liked the Joe’s a bit better, but I think it’s safe to say that both are going back. Too tight around the waist and baggy knees here, too.
DING DING DING! Behind this pair of AG Farrah jeans, the $44.90 Wit & Wisdom jeans were my favorite of the sale! Very, very soft–a rarity for affordable jeans, in my opinion!– and comfy as heck. They have a black band around the waist that pulls me in and slims bumps. (It does not, however, provide me with magical abs. 😜 So sad. Guess I’ll never know what it’s like to have them.) They’re a bit loose on me, and considering the stretch factor, I do think they’ll stretch a bit throughout the day. For that reason, I’ll be sending my normal size back and going one size down. Overall, though, A+.
