^ Emma’s reaction when she found out that the presents were not, in fact, for her. DEAD. ;)
The Larkins are currently in Bermuda, but you can follow along with us in real time here. I thought would, however, pop in for a quick minute today and share some sweet family photos, since today is Father’s Day. :)
I’d definitely planned on writing an extensive, long piece about just how much Emma and I adore and appreciate Mitch. He sweetly told me, though, that what he really wanted while were away was not me on a computer, but uninterrupted time with his wife and daughter.
Still… ;)
We love you, Mitch. Thank you for protecting us and providing for us. For doing everything within your power to comfort us and make us laugh; to empower us and build us up. You are everything I’d ever hoped for in a husband and father, and I’m eternally grateful that for some reason, the gods of Illinois sent you to the Bronx where you swept me off my feet! I love our life together with our little girl.
I… am… the luckiest. <3
And while I’m relatively sure my father will not see this, haha, on the off chance that he does: I love you so much, Dad. You set the most amazing example for the boys and me, and you created a house of love, happiness and laughter for us. As a result, I see all of us creating our own lives and homes in your footsteps. You taught me the importance of always putting family first, and that who you decide to spend the rest of your life with is the most important decision you’ll ever make–which is why I have Mitch and Emma. Thank you for my dream life, Dad! I’m so sad that I’m not with you today to celebrate, but the countdown until OC is ON. :) Love you!
