Okay. I know it’s not Sunday.

Swear.

But this is my FAVORITE weekend shirt, and it happens to be called the “Sunday Shirt.” (It’s available here in more sizes in case it’s sold out at Nordstrom.) I’m obsessed, and if you buy any flannel shirt this season, let this be it. It’s so soft and comfy, and while I can’t put my finger on why, it looks super chic.

(And chic is not a word I’d use to describe my life right now, as I currently have a baby puke stain on said Sunday Shirt. 😳)

Just be sure to size down. I’m wearing a size XS here, and as you can see, it’s oversized. Of course, that’s the look, and I love it. It’s a weekend shirt, after all! But as someone who normally orders a size up hoping for that oversized look, I just thought I should let you know. :) The shirt comes in a buffalo plaid, too! (And have you seen this new sweater dress?)

Note: I totally wear this during the weekDAYS, too, haha. Like, these photos were taken on a Tuesday. During the workweek, I simply tuck the right-hand side (“button hole side”) into my dark jeans, and slip on a pair of nice shoes. Works like a charm!

My other flannel shirt recommendation would be L.L.Bean’s version, which you’ve seen on the blog a lot this year. Again, it runs large, and I take mine in an XS. But so many great plaids that are normally hard to find!

In other news, Rag & Bone jeans are on sale at Nordstrom, as are AG jeans, which is huge. This is my current favorite pair of dark jeans, as I think they’re the softest, comfiest and most form-fitting jeans out there. I also recommend this pair and this pair, which have slightly different cuts. And my wool camel trench coat is on sale as well. (Here’s the classic camel coat, and here’s the famous $38 camel peacoat.)

My scarf is backordered, but I highly recommend ordering now, because it sells out quickly. It’s huge, but SO cozy, and it’s super soft. I also love this similar one and this similar one. (My Burberry scarf is another staple.) And my $48 tote? A no brainer for the fall and all my coffee shop work days. (Holds a 15-inch Macbook perfectly!) Finally, my horsebit loafers were a gift from Mitch for my birthday–we also had a leftover gift card from a blog collaboration, so don’t think we’re completely crazy–but this pair and this pair are SO similar and far more affordable. They also come in leopard.

Anyway, my apologies for the lackluster blog content this week. Besides this post on our gingham pumpkins, there were some real yawners published, if I’m being completely honest. But Mitch and I had some big projects we were working on, and we can’t wait to share them with you. In the meantime, though, thank you for following along! You guys are the BEST. ❤️

And now, off to the lake house for the annual Larkin Family Fall Fest. Looking forward to posting photos from our family fun-filled weekend soon. :)

Happy weekend, all!
