Life Lately, 4/1

Celebrating The EveryGirl’s five-year anniversary and Danielle and Conor’s engagement! So happy for you guys! Poor Emma. She seriously had the best time, but she did NOT want to take this photo, haha. I’m wearing English Factory. My top is sold out, but I also have this one which I love and is on sale!

Happy Weekend! I’m having such a great one, as my brother and sister-in-law flew in from Philly yesterday morning. They had to get up at like 3 a.m. for their flight, so it was a bit of a Struggle Day for them, but we still had a blast. :) Brunch, a long walk, deep dish, hanging out at the house, and blueberry margaritas for happy hour. (Are we friends on Facebook yet?!)

Today, we’re planning on walking to the lake/zoo and doing a lot of eating. I’ll be sure to share photos next week, but in the meantime, here’s what I’ve been up to! (Warning: This is mostly just a compilation of Emma pics.)

Emma after the Radio Flyer event in Lincoln Square! This was quite possibly the cutest activity we’ve ever done with her. She LOVED it. (She was even on the news!) It was also one of the happiest days. After the event, we took her to the toy store fir the first time and let her pick out a toy. (She chose a little puppy!) And then we went out to lunch.

I’m working on a final bedroom reveal! I’m SO EXCITED about our new baby monitor from Motorola. Here’s our bed, sheets, bedding, shams, night stands and Britt Ford artwork. (It’s a map of Lincoln Park. WE LOVE IT!) Lamps are old but I love these!

Lunch with Kira on a 70-degree day in LP. Kira, we love you! Just look at how excited Emma is to see her. Also, that warmth was amazing… Totally getting me through these last few chilly weeks in Chicago!

The last three days, the rain was unstoppable…

Name that tune! Anyway, this was a coffee shop day for me, as my mother-in-law came up to watch Emma for me so I could get caught up on work. I’m wearing this Barbour rain coat, these jeans and these Hunters. My shirt is old from Lands’ End.
