My mother-in-law is an absolute saint and is hosting Thanksgiving this year. 🍁 (Thank you, Lisa!) But we are, however, having friends over to our home in Chicago beforehand. :) All our friends have small children, and therefore it’s going to be very casual—and in the kitchen, so we contain the potential disaster. (Who am I kidding? It’s an inescapable reality no matter where we host in the house. 😆 But kitchen it is!)
This is definitely my favorite collaboration of the year, as I love Birch Lane and I love fall. We teamed up with the brand to feature a few gorgeous pieces that not only work for autumn and Thanksgiving but can also be used and displayed throughout the whole year. Decor that’s specific to fall isn’t the only thing that brings a sense of coziness to a home. Texture, natural materials and warm hues do the same!
Something I love about Birch Lane is the message it sends to customers regarding Thanksgiving and fall get-togethers in general: everyone is welcome and there’s always room for another seat at the table (or at kitchen island 😉). And shipping is fast and free, so I can totally pull off last-minute get-togethers.
