This is one of my favorite parts of covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for you guys: touring the store and showcasing favorite products, both on display and in the dressing room!
I will say that I wasn’t planning on going yesterday, on account of the fact that Mitch and I pulled an all-nighter in order to get this massive roundup/giveaway post up on the blog. But then we got a second wind and ran down there late night before closing. And it was so fun! I really only made it to shoes, bags and denim–and I started to look through the clothing… but then the store closed. 😂 So I’m just going to stick with some quick pics/reviews of the sale shoes, bags and denim… and then hopefully do clothing tomorrow. :)

Shoes
What can I say? I’m a shoe girl. And this year’s shoe sale selection is AMAZING. I’ve highlighted a few of my favorites below!
Navy Bow Slide (Also in black and pink) / Leopard Bow Slide
The navy ones actually came home with me! I LOVE them. Don’t they remind you of Prada?! I usually wear a 7.5 in shoes and took these in an 8. I would recommend going up a half size.
Madewell Mules (Also love these Madewell loafers as well as these. And this Sperry pair is THE BEST.)
I adore Madewell loafers and mules because they’re so well made and they’re ridiculously comfy. Tried these on in-store and they were the same! Run TTS.
Sam Edelman Sandals
These are too high for me and my mommying ways, but I like them.
Black Flats (But think I like this pair better.)
Gorgeous flats for the fall.
Cole Haan Wedge
Great for city girls who do a ton of walking or those who are on their feet all day. Very comfortable!
Bow Flats (Also love the leopard bow flats and the heels!)

Tory Burch Pumps
WINNERS. They run TTS in case you’re wondering. I wear a 7.5 in shoes but sometimes a 7 if my feet slip forward, and I took these in a 7.5.

Sperry Boots
My mom has these and I’ve worn them on a few occasions. So flexible and therefore really easy on your feet. Also very warm!

Cole Haan Boots
I didn’t try these on, but I have an older pair of Cole Haan boots and again: so easy on the feet. Love that these don’t have a giant label plastered all over them!

What a selection this year! These are the bags I love the most, and the ones I think will go quickly.
Tory Burch Crossbody / Tory Burch Tote
CUTENESS! I ordered the tote and am SO excited for it to come. I went with brown but love the blush as well.
Longchamp Tote Bag
This sells out quickly every year so grab it while you can. I love that it expands; it’s perfect for trips when you come back with more stuff than you came with. ;) Look how much bigger it gets!
Affordable Crossbody!
Love the color of this one. Same look as the Tory one but a better deal, for sure.
Kate Spade Shoulder Bag / Kate Spade Tote
I’m drawn to the shoulder bag!
Madewell Bag
I have a similar drawstring bag otherwise I would have pounced on this one. Madewell bags last forever and they’re gorgeous! Also go with everything for the fall, and the bag surprisingly fits a lot.

FYI: I’m between 5’4 and 5’5 and weigh somewhere between 105 and 110 pounds. I’m wearing a size 25 in all of the jeans you see here, which is my normal size in designer denim. (Every single pair seemed to run TTS!) Hope that helps!
Rag & Bone Ankle Skinny Jeans
Without a doubt, my favorite from the sale. They fit like a GLOVE, and they’re very soft and don’t bother me at the waist. Btw: the side picture makes them look a lot lighter than they are; my camera on my phone is broken. They came home with me!
AG Skinny Jeans (Original post here.)
I didn’t try these on since I already own them and ADORE THEM. I couldn’t recommend them more; they should definitely be in your cart. Again, soft yet more substance to them… they don’t stretch out throughout the day… and the little distressed patch at the top isn’t very noticeable. I also feel like they make my legs look long!
Warning: They sell out quickly. If you’re interested, pounce.
AG Boyfriend Jeans
I actually liked these! Definitely not a boyfriend jeans kind of gal just because I feel like I need to wear heels with them in order to make them look polished and I have a kid and heels are a sometimes thing for me PHEW. ;) but if boyfriend jeans were my thing, these would be my top pick. I love how they fit at the waist, and the cuffing is too cute!
AG Skinny Farrah Ankle Jeans
Meh. A little uncomfortable in the waist, and I didn’t like how the bottom of the legs were on the looser side.
AG Prima Cigarette Jeans
Same thoughts with these. I like my jeans plastered to my body and my tops loose. ;) Cigarette jeans just don’t do it for me.
7 For All Mankind High-Waisted Jeans
These were good for high-waisted jeans! But I’m more of a low- and mid-rise girl. (I realize that’s not as “in” right now, but I’m most comfortable in those cuts.) I think these look nice, but I would dread sitting down in them and having the waist be above my belly button. Just feels weird to me, haha.
J Brand High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
Too loose around the ankles.
DL1961 Florence Skinny Jeans
These were good! But they don’t compare to the Emma jeans. Those are GREAT, and I have a few pairs. (And not just because of the name.) Couldn’t find them in store, though.
