A couple of weekends ago, I went out to brunch with some great friends at the Turning Point. (Adorable restaurant that overlooks Manhattan. Couldn’t recommend it more! Very West Village-like. ;)) Anyway, the reason we got together was to hang out with Caitlin, the girl behind the adorable Picket Fence Projects blog. The story is that she and her husband recently purchased their first home, an older house–built in the 1960s!–with a lot of charm. They’re chronicling their journey as first-time homeowners, documenting their home improvement and decorating projects. So inspirational!

Not only is Caitlin just as sweet as she comes across on her blog, she’s also a total fashionista! Be sure to check out her blog… It makes me want to completely revamp my apartment. And buy an adorable house in Connecticut.
