Okay. I realize that I update you guys every single time we make a tiny change in the house, but I can’t help myself. Even little things seem to make a huge difference, and I love documenting the process. :)
About today’s photos: Over Labor Day Weekend, Mitch and I decided to pull the trigger on our dream leather couch and love seat. They were on sale, my mom had a killer coupon (which she literally had to dig through the trash to find — love you, Mom!), and shipping was free. As we couldn’t see them in person before buying, we were a bit nervous… but they arrived a couple of days ago, and we’re shocked by the incredible quality. We keep saying that they look like something out of Pottery Barn or Ballard Designs!
The top-grain leather is buttery soft, the construction is flawless, and the nailhead trim is gorgeous. (Side note: the love seat isn’t featured in these photos because it’s pushed up against a wall in the dining room. Once we mount the TV over the fireplace, it’ll go in front of the two windows in the front of the house.) We obviously still need to do a lot, but I’m so happy that the place is starting to resemble some of my original inspiration photos! (Kind of. Maybe? I hope, haha.)

Anyway, please excuse me while I post way to many photos of Noodle on the new couch. :)
