This sure has been a glorious fall for fun outfits. While it might look miserably cold in these photos—particularly the first one—it’s actually wonderfully warm for November, and I’m gleefully strolling around sans socks.

It’s 2020. It’s the little things.

Today’s look:

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: Every girl needs a pair. They’re awesome. They’re ridiculously comfortable and make you look stylish but feel like you’re still in your PJs. I tend to wear them with longer shirts and sweaters just so my butt is covered up, but I’m not 25 anymore. My one bit of advice here would be to size up! I have them in a small but I wish I had them in a medium. The velvet version is a MUST for the holidays, btw; they’re even warmer than the faux leather leggings.

J.Crew Perfect Button-Down: Another wardrobe staple. (Runs TTS.) Pair a crisp white button-down shirt with any bottom and you’re sure to look like a million bucks. I own the J.Crew classic, but my eye is on this ruffled take on the basic.

Sarah Flint Loafers: Holy happiness, Friends. Sarah Flint sent me these recently and they’re STUNNING. They have just enough heel to elevate an otherwise simple outfit and they do so without compromising comfort. I’m on a roll with comfy shoes this year. All I needed to do was bend the backs of the loafers a little before wearing, and ZERO break-in time as a result! Walked several miles in them (because that’s what we do for fun these days) and no rubbing whatsoever. They’re like walking on clouds! TTS as well. Plaid Blazer: I didn’t realize until I looked at these photos that the blazer is actually a navy plaid, not black. 😆 Whatever, though. I still think it works with the black leggings and loafers! Isn’t that a popular thing to do these days? Mix navy with black? Anyway, it’s supposed to look slightly oversized, but order either your normal size or one size down because it’s generous.

Crossbody Bag: You’ll be seeing this for a long time. The leather is just so soft! It also comes in black and red. Leopard here.

Sunglasses: Mine are all scratched up because Lucy is quite the fan. I’ve been looking at similar (less expensive) pairs here and here. What do you think?!

Western Hat: It’s really cute, but I still feel weird in it. 🙈 It shall be going to a friend soon, haha.
