Since the big move, I’ve been in shorts and t-shirts every single day. We’ve just had so much to do–from unpacking and moving boxes around the house to spackling the walls and rearranging what little furniture we have. ;) It’s been really fun, but at the same time, it can be tiring and a bit discouraging at times. I feel like we often work ALL DAY, and that things don’t look that much different when we’re done. But I guess that’s how it goes with getting a new home set up. It takes time!
Anyway, last night we took a much-needed break, and headed to our friends Kit and Charles’ place for appetizers and cocktails on their roof. So much fun, and very nice to take our minds off the house. (As much as we absolutely adore it!) It was also pretty nice to get a little dressed up. ;)
Today, we’re back to the spackling. But tonight, we’re meeting up with Erica–one of our very best friends from New York–who we haven’t seen in forever. There’s so much to catch up on, and I can’t wait.
