Jenni Kayne Mules | Recent Finds 8/29

Jenni Kayne Mules (But Nine West makes an awesome super similar pair. You can find that via Nine West or Macy’s. Finally, this pair from Steve Madden is solid!)

I have a super long “Recent Finds” for you today, written over a glass of wine. So this should be good! 😜

I talked about this on the blog earlier in the week, but I’m going to be heavily relying on coordinating basics, mostly in solid colors, this fall. Bring on the black, white, camel and olive green. I’m all about simplicity this season—in all areas of life, really—and I love when getting dressed in the morning is easy.

Btw: I think the J.Crew Sophie Sweater Blazer is being discontinued. It’s on MAJOR sale today. Can’t recommend it enough; size down!

Here are this week’s related finds:

Fall 2021 is all about the LBD. (Simplicity!) I love this one. While I’m usually drawn to midi length ones, I’m kind of loving this shorter one for date night. The tiers make it super flattering, too!

This is a must for upcoming chillier days. The reviews are amazing and say that it’s ridiculously flattering, too.

My favorite white dress is back in stock! It features a wrinkle-resistant material, which is why I love it so much. Also very forgiving. Here is the solid black version of it, which I wear weekly!

This poncho! Adore the camel trim. Comes in several other colors, too.

This is the BEST top. It’s suede, and looks great on everyone I’ve seen it in. I have it in this color, but it’s also available in a green. If in between sizes, size down.

Love a striped maxi dress, and Tuckernuck always does it well!

This looks exceptionally cozy right now as I freeze in the air-conditioning my husband insists should be set to the frostbite level.

Cozy sweater season is upon us! I love it in the fall. Hate it in the winter. Ah, life’s not fair.

I’m going to have to live vicariously through you guys on this one. ;) But so cute! THE SWING!

This is the best skirt I purchased last year! It looks adorable with a chunky cropped sweater.

One of my most-loved flannels is back! Oh man. Flannel. How could I survive Chicago without it?

An awesome pair of corduroy skinnies.

THESE ARE IN MY CART. I’m so excited about them. As someone who suffers from Raynaud’s, I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting for shearling-lined sneakers, and these look fabulous. I would kill for more colors/styles!

The ruffles on this sweet top, which comes in several colors.

The famous button sweatshirt—lined with the softest fleece—now comes in a tunic style, perfect for pairing with leggings.

Factory came out with a lightweight puffer! This is the J.Crew version, which is lined in Primaloft. (Meaning that it’s warmer. I would make the decision based on where you live + the weather!) Also, be sure to size down.

The classic navy puffer is back. Also comes in black, which works with that color palette. ;)

One of my favorite layering tees! Size down.

Could this be the perfect fall flannel? (WORKS WITH THE PALETTE. I’m out of control over here.)

Essential for those early-morning drop-offs.

These are my go-to going out earrings these days. Simple yet elegant!

All about the top knot headbands these days, and this one is reportedly pain-free.

Since the famous Sophie Sweater Blazer is seemingly being discontinued (get it on major sale right now!), this is a great replacement!

Is this not a beautiful topcoat?! Good camel coats can be hard to find since they usually sell out so quickly. This one is beautiful, fully in stock, and crazy affordable!

I see one of you pumpkin picking in this dress. ;)

A leopard puffer!

A herringbone version of the best skirt I purchased last year! It looks adorable with a chunky cropped sweater.

Loving the cropped puffer coat in Liberty print, which J.Crew just released.

Here it is in solid! In LOVE with this color.

A cardigan dress! Taylor Swift must be freaking out. It also comes in navy.

Favorite socks to wear with Birkenstock clogs.

Shearling-lined! So tempting.

The classic.

The Jenni Kayne investment sweater. It’s stunning. But yes, quite the investment. If you’re going to do it, be sure to sign up for emails and get the 15 percent off.

My favorite product on the site. Here’s the original Jenni Kayne pair, but Nine West makes an awesome super similar pair. (You can find that via Nine West or Macy’s.) Finally, this pair from Steve Madden is solid!

In black.

My initial necklace is extremely tarnished, and it would appear that there’s no going back. (Would have to have it re-plated, and that’s really not worth it.) I was between a few for a while there, but I think I’ve settled on this one! It’s not gold-plated, it should last a lot longer than my last one.

I love this cozy long cardigan. Evereve is quickly becoming one of my favorite retailers.

Ditto on this turtleneck tank!

Another awesome cable-knit option.

LOVE this one. The neckline makes it a little dressier but the material looks ultra cozy.

Black and white striped sweaters for the the win!

Really big fan of wearing cropped cardigans as tops.

I love my Rails shirt. It’s so soft. An investment, but the only white button-up you’ll ever want to wear! You can also find the shirt at Nordstrom.

The Rails Shirt in camel ginghams. GORGEOUS.

Another option if you like the top from Evereve.

Jess Kirby x Able is now available! Huge fan of the striped fisherman sweater. My favorite from the collection!

Also obsessed with this.

And this! Go Jess. This is an amazing collaboration!

My most-worn baseball hat. Wear it biking every morning!

Waiting patiently for this dress to arrive <3

An amazing LBD that can be dressed up or down. The puff sleeves are adorable.

Classic black top knot headband.

The best-selling Seagrove Pullover! You could wear this multiple times per week with different bottoms and no one would know. ;)

Would look fabulous with white jeans for fall.

Gorgeous everyday clogs.

Love the height that these would provide!

This is getting mighty long today. Time to climb into this comfy top and take a nap? ;)

KJP SEASONAL SWEATERS ARE BACK! I own this fall one. Size down!

Perfect for apple picking, obviously.

A different sweater for every farm outing, haha. But seriously. So cute.

Remember the old J.Crew cashmere hoodie?! (The zip-up version is back in stock, btw.) This is an incredibly similar piece. Very soft! I took it in an XS.

Here’s the zip-up J.Crew cashmere hoodie. It’s GREAT, but obviously pricey.

Crewcuts’ hoodie. The XL usually fits up to a medium, sometimes a large, in women’s clothing. Otherwise you can get it for your kid and have him/her look fab. ;)
