Happy New Year! One thing that made such a difference for me in the last year was the switch to buying more closet staples and everyday basics. I primarily bought neutral colors, making it easy to mix and match almost anything in my closet to put together a cute outfit. It also made getting dressed in the mornings way easier! I’m sticking to the same rule in the new year. I’ve been really drawn to neutrals lately, so I thought I’d share some cold-weather wardrobe staples with you if you’re looking to simplify your closet too.

Black Sweater: This soft black mock neck sweater is so gorgeous and a recent bestseller. It would also be a great base for layering.

Grey Collared Sweater: The relaxed collar gives this sweater a polished look. Easily could be dressed up with pants or jeans or worn with leggings for a more casual outfit.

White Sweater: A white sweater is such a great piece to have in your closet during the winter. It goes with everything! This one is a little more unique and has cable knit details on the sleeves.

Cream Eyelet Sweater: This gorgeous cream pullover sweater is knit from a soft merino wool blend, and the pointelle balloon sleeves make it look extra cozy.

White Long Sleeve T-Shirt: A good basic white long sleeve tee is a wardrobe staple! It’s perfect for layering under jackets or cardigan sweaters.

Beanie: Beanies are a cold-weather essential, and this ribbed one is gorgeous.

Suede Gloves: Again, a good pair of gloves are a winter essential, and these look extra cozy.

Marled Camp Socks: These look so cute peeking out of a pair of ankle boots or bean boots. They’re also great to wear with tall boots, so you don’t have to deal with your sock sliding down.

Leather Crossbody Bag: This was one of my most used bags of the year in 2021. It looks small, but it seriously fits everything the girls and I needed. It’s also so easy to style. Highly recommend!

White Coat: If you’re looking for the perfect day coat, this is it. The A-line silhouette is very flattering and makes the coat look even more elegant.

Plaid Blazer: Style this plaid blazer with a white sweater, black denim, and black boots for an easy and polished look.

Jeans: These are my favorite pair of blue denim. They’re the perfect fit and look so flattering.

Black Jeans: Black jeans are so versatile. They’re definitely a closet staple and bring a little bit of contrast to an outfit.

White Sneakers: I absolutely love my Veja sneakers. I recently discovered them and have been wearing them on repeat ever since. They add a bit of Parisian flair to any outfit.

Lugsole Ankle Boots: And finally, a cute pair of cold-weather boots is a must. I’ve been seeing this style of ankle boots everywhere lately, and they look so good.
