Guys. It’s day three of our New Orleans Fakesgiving trip and THE.BLOG.IS.STILL.UP.

Of course, I think it’s pretty clear that I put together all my weekend content late Thursday night over wine with Mitch. (Pretty sure his post, also created over a glass of vino, is going up tomorrow. Stay tuned! 😜) But whatever. It’s kind of fun, right? Remember when I used to post outfits like every day?! 😉

I’ll keep this short and sweet but J.Crew Factory brought back a super popular navy toggle cape (now on sale!) that was originally carried at J.Crew years ago, and I was THRILLED when I stumbled upon it. (I dragged my feet the first time and missed out, and I’ve kind of have regretted it ever since, haha.)

Guys, get it! It’s so cute, and I can’t tell you how many questions I get about it when I wear it around the neighborhood. The really nice thing about it is that I can actually be a mom in it, too. Most capes I’ve owned in the past were completely impractical for me; picking up the girls is a next-to-impossible physical feat when I wore them. But as you can see, there are slits instead of arm holes, which somehow don’t make the coat less warm… yet also allows for maximum movement! And those TOGGLES. Nothing screams “prep” in the winter more than some classic toggles. (Though where are the toggle duffle coats, J.Crew?! Bring them back!)
