Morning, guys!
A few things today, bullet point-style:
- This soft ruffle jacket is on major sale and still in stock. Can’t believe it! It’s going to be a staple this fall, for sure. I’m wearing a XS here, but I wore a size medium when I tried it on in Denver. It was big, but as you can see from the pic, it worked! So if you need to order a size up, no big deal. (But probably not more than one size up.)
- My crazy travel itinerary continues! I’m in Milwaukee this weekend and then I’m in Memphis from Monday until Thursday… but then I’m home in Chicago for several weeks. I’m crazy excited for both trips, but I’m also excited for life to calm down a little. Keeping this blog afloat has been a little challenging, and I’ve often found myself blogging in weird places at weird times in order to do so… and I definitely haven’t been getting enough sleep, haha. So I’m looking forward to a little stability, my own bed, and an organized and clean home! Please excuse my outfit after outfit for the next few days. Just gettin’ by…

- Totally random, but is anyone else totally in love with Dan + Shay?! My favorites are “Can’t Say No,” “Obsessed,” and “Already Ready.” I apologize in advance to your significant other. I play these songs constantly and annoy the hell out of Mitch. ;) Actually, he’s a pretty good sport about it… but deep down, I know he hates it.
- Ryan Adams is coming to play in Chicago on August 3rd at the Vic, and I missed the sale day. If anyone has some extra tickets, pleaaaaase let me know. I will buy! Desperate to go. Like, despppperaaate. (Also, we’d need a babysitter, haha.) I missed him last year because he was playing in Central Park ON OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN CENTRAL PARK, and I was due a week later. Did I ever tell you guys about the time we saw him and I sobbed through the entire show? The people in front of us thought Mitch had proposed to me. (Nope. We’d been married for a few years.) Read this post. Sigh. (I’m doing much better now, and truly love Chicago.) Hahaha.
- I’ve run out of things to say. Anyone climb a mountain of chardonnay bottles last night? ;)
