The weather was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend in New York City. I wasn’t even shivering as Mitch snapped these photos of me standing–yet again–in traffic without a jacket. (I swear I wait for red lights. “Right on red” turns aren’t allowed in the Big Apple, which allows for easy traffic pattern predictions. ;))
Top: C.Wonder (On sale!), similar here / Skirt: J.Crew (Sold out), nearly identical copy here in navy, here in red, and here in gray (40 percent off! Use code “EARLYBIRD” to take an additional 10 percent off if you buy two items, and to take an additional 20 percent off if you buy three or more items!) / Bag: Tory Burch (I’m featuring this bag again and again… Sorry! It’s just really that functional! Carries everything I need for the day without being massive. #winner) / Necklace: Fornash (c/o) / Wedges: Payless (Seriously! So comfy! Sadly sold out), but loving these leopard wedges from Target! What a steal! / Tights: HUE / Bracelets: baskets — Fornash (c/o), bumble bee —Fornash (c/o), and C.Wonder (On sale!) / Sunnies: Kate Spade / Earrings: J.Crew, cheaper version here / Lipstick: Clinique (in “Pudgy Peony.”)
Anyway, these photos were taken on Friday night across the street from Bloomingdales on 60th and Third Avenue. We had time to kill before meeting up with my family, so after a quick stop at Bloomies ;), we headed to Merchants NY and Baker Street. Later, we had cocktails with my dad at Patsy’s, and then met the rest of the family at Isle of Capri, one of my favorite Italian spots on the Upper East Side, to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday with my aunts and uncles. I loved it. The company was fabulous, the atmosphere was lively, and the food was delicious. Now I can’t wait to see everyone again over the holidays!
Happy birthday, Grandma! We love you!
Beautiful, classy, lovely my dear! :)
So pretty and classy. Love that bright purple on you!
Sincerely,
Sabrina
Love your whole outfit – I would wear it in a heartbeat! I’m all about functional purses, plus yours is just so cute not to carry on a daily basis!
You are pretty bold to take photos in the street during the hustle and bustle – and you must have to take them pretty quickly! Love that blouse on you, the color is great, and I’m not sure if I like the turquoise bee, or the white bee bracelet more!
I adore the color of your blouse- it is so rich and bold!
Beautiful outfit & I love the location of your photos, though isn’t it tricky to takes photos when there are so many people around? :D

Madara–YES! It’s so tricky, haha. The funniest is when you inadvertently catch someone in a very awkward position in the background. For some reason, for example, there always people sneezing in my backgrounds. I’ve seen a lot–people crying, picking their noses, tripping… Oh man. It goes on and on. The problem is that there just aren’t very many places in New York City that aren’t crowded! Hehe. ;) xoxo!
Magenta is a great color on you Kelly!

Adorable as always Kelly! I love that color on you. And the shoes are adorable (and thank you for telling us you aren’t risking your life for your pictures!)

Happy Birthday to your grandmother! And I must say you really dressed perfectly for the occasion! LOVE the bracelets and your necklace – the teal/aqua color really pops against the magenta :]
Cute, as always. How does it feel being the center of attention, all eyes on you as you stand in the middle of NYC getting your picture taken? Haha! “Look, there’s that celebrity again! Who “IS” she???” Hahah.
