Tonight, I’m featuring the cutest crossbody ever by Grateful Bags. The bigger the monogram, the better, in my opinion–and Grateful Bags seems to agree. I’m obsessed with my bag’s bold acrylic centerpiece, and love that I was able to choose my own font and color. (I also love that the plates are interchangeable!) The bag’s leather is super soft, and the bag itself is spacious, which means I can actually carry it while walking around the city. (Few crossbodys can actually get me through my busy days!)
Grateful Bags was founded by designer Jenny Ross. Embodying her Southern roots, she believes in starting each day with gratitude–something I love. (I actually remember this each time I carry my own Grateful Bags crossbody. So awesome!) The company also believes in giving back, and supports several children’s organizations, such as Sole Hope, Tiny Hands International, and Home with a Heart. Who can’t get behind that?! :)
I adore so many bags from the Grateful Bags collection, but my current favorite is the Julia in hot pink. #omg
In other news, a heat wave has graced the streets of New York City, and I’m lovin‘ it… even though I don’t have air conditioning in my middle school classroom. (Stick, sticky, sticky. Smelly, smelly, smelly.) After this past winter, I’ll never complain about warmth again! Mitch and I spent tonight walking up and down the Hudson River, and it was absolutely lovely. Work, schmork.
Oh, and I’m still working on that GoPro video. I’m not the best when it comes to video editing, so get ready for some laughs. On to Wednesday!
