Dress: Design History (c/o) — Brand available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus / Sandals: Jack Rogers / Pouch: Lilly Pulitzer (Old), but currently loving these guys as clutches! / Bracelet: Kate Spade (Sold out), still available here, and similar here (How perfect is this?! And it’s $7.99!) / Necklace: emitations (c/o) / Earrings: J.Crew / Lipstick: Clinique (“Pudgy Peony”) / Watch: Marc Jacobs, and love it in brown and black!
I always seem to lack creativity when it comes to taking blog photos while visiting my parents. Mitch and I have the same conversation almost every night:
“Maybe we should shoot somewhere else?” he asks. (So supportive.)
“Nahhhhh,” I respond. “Let’s just shoot on the boardwalk. It’s so close!”
I can’t help it. All I want to do when I’m home is spend time with the fam! So my apologies for the repeat background. (You’ll see it at least one more time before the week’s end!) And for the fact that I almost never change my shoes.
Anyway. ;) Tonight, I’m featuring an extremely comfy and soft dress by Design History. Famous for its cashmere sweaters, I’ve long been a fan of the brand. This is my first time, however, sporting one of Design History’s knit dresses… and I have to say: I love it. Lightweight dresses are a must for New York City summers (#omghumidity), so something tells me I’ll be relying on this little number quite often! (FYI: Design History is sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus!)
First, you are the cutest. Second, yes! It was that shot and I think that some people though I was being dramatic but seriously that shot knocks you out for like two days. I felt like I did the hardest workout ever on just ONE should!

You are NOT being dramatic. The pain was INSANE, haha. And, of course, for some reason everyone I knew wanted to hug me and punch me and grab me by the arm that week!! I don’t know about you, but I was put on antibiotics as well–which also messed me up. Oh, man. I need to be less of a klutz, hehe. xoxo!
I love that dress and the cute Lilly cosmetic bag turned clutch! Such a great look :)

Loving the well loved Jacks! One of the few things in my closet that I truly believe get better and better each time I wear them. (And I don’t mind the boardwalk pics at all!)

Kelly,
I totally agree! I’ve had mine for YEARS and I refuse to replace them. They’re so comfy!! ;) xoxo!
I am the exact same way when i go home. I just laze around on the couch all day–somehow it just feels right when on I’m on vacation. And I love the boardwalk photos!

I see nothing wrong with taking photos in the same place, especially when it is such a good place. The little rope zipper pull on your clutch — the cutest!
