Gavyn Henley T-Shirt Dress: Normally $98, sale price will likely be $50 / Girls’ Mini Loro Dress: Normally $68, sale price $40
Oh my gosh, guys. I’m really proud of this. 😆 Today I’m sharing SEVEN OUTFITS (11 if you count the girls’ looks)–complete with reviews and sizing info–that you’ll find during the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. (Which starts tomorrow!)
Please note the wine. Mitch and I shot these photos on Saturday night. We had a LOT of fun. 😜
Many thanks to the Lilly team for making this try-on possible!
Before we get to that, though, here’s that second chance to win $500 to shop and a new chance to win a free Lilly dress:
$500 Giveaway: Entry #2
To enter to win $500 to shop the sale, simply:
- Comment at the bottom of this blog post in the comment section.
- In the comment, help me get to know you, and tell me about where you currently live! Ideas: How did you end up there? What is it like? What makes it unique? Do you enjoy living there? How are things going there re: the pandemic? How long do you think you’ll stay? Where did you grow up? Would you ever want to live anywhere else?
- Bonus points for including random facts, stories, funny stuff or anything that’s on your mind. (Though definitely not required. A randomizer picks the winner. Mitch and I are just kind of bored in 2020 and always enjoy giveaway entries because people get CREATIVE. 😜)
- Be sure to enter your e-mail so I can contact you if you win. (Don’t worry; it’s only visible to you and me, and I am far too exhausted to do anything with the information. 😉)
Winner will be selected at random and contacted mid-morning on September 15th so she has time to shop the sale. The winnings will be awarded via Venmo or PayPal, which means that you can use the $500 for whatever you like/need. ♥️ There will be one more chance to enter to win in tomorrow’s post. So be sure to check back! (Here is the first chance to enter.)
Margot Dress, Size Small, Giveaway:
I have an extra Margot Dress in a size small! (True to size but flowy, so would likely work for girls who wear XS, small or medium.) I have an extra, and I’d love to send it to one of you. To enter to win it, simply:
- In the same comment as your $500 giveaway entry comment, tell me that you’d like to win the dress!
- That’s it. 😆
Try-on:
Brewster T-Shirt Dress
Normally $108, sale price $50
The Brewster T-Shirt Dress is my #1 pick from the sale. If it’s still available when you log on tomorrow, I highly recommend snatching it up. (Word to the wise: It’ll go very quickly. So if you have your heart set on it and it’s still available in your size tomorrow, I would check out immediately!)
It’s just SO good. I love it because it’s super lightweight yet also soft… and you can make it look like a $250 Lilly dress by wearing a pair of heeled sandals or you can make it look super casual by simply pairing it with sandals or white sneakers.
My mom swears by it, too!
I would say that it runs true to size. I’m wearing a small here, which is what I usually order in Lilly Pulitzer. (I’m not a fan of super form-fitting clothing!)
It comes in navy blue, too. (Though the navy will not be on sale.) Other favorite t-shirt dresses include the Marlowe and the Harper. You’ll likely see some of those on sale tomorrow, too!
Brewster T-Shirt Dress: Normally $108, sale price $50
Elsa Top / Girls’ Mini Harper Shift Dress
Normally $158, sale price $64 / Normally $68, sale price $30
Jack Rogers Sandals / Spanx Jeans
The Elsa top is one of the most versatile tops you’ll ever own. I wear mine year-round, and I’m kind of embarrassed to admit how many I own. (Though this one is going to my mother so she can match with Emma. 🥰) It’s a gorgeous silk top, but I do wash it using this stuff from The Laundress. Makes life a lot easier!
It’s flowy and drapes in all the right ways, and it can be worn tucked into jeans, pants and skirts or left out while paired with leggings or leggings. It’s great for travel and I always get so many compliments on mine when I wear them!
Sizing: Again, it’s flowy, but it’s meant to look like that. I always order a size small, and that’s what I’m wearing in the above photos!
As for the Mini Harper Shift, this is my favorite girls’ dress. It’s a light Terry sweatshirt-like material, and Emma calls it her “cozy dress.” I would highly recommend going up a size or two, not because it runs small but because then you’ll get a few years’ wear out of it that way. Emma is four years old and she’s wearing a 4/5; If I were ordering during the sale, I would definitely order a size 6! Emma has a lot of size 6 Lilly dresses and she’s not swimming in them.
The Harper Shift Dress is available in women’s sizes, too. I’m sure you’ll see some in tomorrow’s sale.
Elsa Top: Normally $158, sale price $64
Girls’ Mini Harper Shift Dress: Normally $68, sale price $30
High-Rise Weekender Leggings / Athea Tassel Sweater
Normally $118, sale price $90 / Normally $138, sale price $54
If you’re interested in making a 2020-friendly purchase, the High-Rise Weekender Leggings are for you. Just make sure you buy the high-rise version; they’re far superior to the mid-rise! (Way comfier and they flatter the tummy area.)
They’re great. They’re obviously designed for working out, but I often pair them with sweaters and blouses and they look like fancy pants.
Sizing: True to size. I’m wearing a size small here, which is what I normally order in most leggings.
The Athea Tassel Sweater is lovely, too. Looks fantastic with jeggings. (This Madewell jegging cut is my favorite. The look of jeans but the feel of leggings.)
Sizing: A little on the big side. Definitely read the reviews if you plan on buying Lilly sweaters during the sale; a good number of them are meant to look oversized but also run large. I sized down to an XS here and it’s still plenty flowy.
High-Rise Weekender Leggings: Normally $118, sale price $90
Athea Tassel Sweater: Normally $138, sale price $54
Gavyn Henley T-Shirt Dress / Girls’ Mini Loro Dress
Normally $98, sale price will likely be $50 / Normally $68, sale price $40
Another fantastic t-shirt dress! Lilly didn’t tell me that the Gavyn Henley T-Shirt Dress would be included in the sale, but the team sent it along and it’s since disappeared from the site… so it’s definitely a sale dress! Such a great buy; very similar to the Brewster.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the dress features an anchor print, which is absolutely adorable. This is definitely going to be one of my go-to beach dresses for years to come! I love the Henley buttons down the front, too. Definitely more casual than the Brewster because of ’em, but the perfect casual dress.
Sizing: Wearing my normal size small here and it’s perfect.
As for Emma’s Mini Loro Dress, it matches! So cute. Tiered cuts look amazing on everyone, children included… and I love how easily Emma can move in it. Sometimes I’ll have her wear tumble shorts with dresses like these. Works great if she’s climbing on playgrounds or whatever!
Gavyn Henley T-Shirt Dress: Normally $98, sale price will likely be $50
Girls’ Mini Loro Dress: Normally $68, sale price $40
Reversible Florin Top
Normally $88, sale price $44
Jack Rogers Sandals / Spanx Jeans
Perhaps the best deal of the sale! The Florin top is reversible, and made of Lileze, which is this magical wrinkle-resistant material that you need in your life. No wrinkles is great for travel, but so is the top’s versatility! Two tops in one = less to pack. I love it.
The coolest part is that the tag flips over and into the back for both the patterned and the solid sides. Kind of crazy how well it works… you really can’t tell that it’s a reversible shirt at all!
I’m wearing a size small here. Probably could have gone down to an XS but honestly I usually regret doing that unless I’m swimming in a top. This is meant to be flowy, so I’d probably recommend just going with your usual size!
Reversible Florin Top: Normally $88, sale price $44
Margot Swing Dress / Girls’ Classic Little Lilly Shift Dress / Baby Shift Dress
Normally $108, sale price $50 / Normally $58, sale price $40 / Normally $38, sale price will likely be ~$28
Holy cuteness. I love that I’m matching with the girls here! The Margot dress runs TTS and is flowy and flattering. I’m wearing a size small here. There’s a cute little tassel tie in the back!
As for the girls, they’re wearing the classic Lilly shift dress–a must in any preppy little girl’s closet! ;) Emma is wearing the size 6 and Lucy is wearing the size 18-24 months. (Emma is four years old and Lucy is 15 months.) They’re maybe a little big, but I love that Emma will likely get 2 or 3 years’ wear out of hers, and that Lucy will be able to wear hers next summer as well.
Isn’t the lace detailing around the neck adorable?! Emma adores her pockets, too. Great for seashell collecting.
Margot Swing Dress: Normally $108, sale price $50
Girls’ Classic Little Lilly Shift Dress: Normally $58, sale price $40
Baby Shift Dress: Normally $38, sale price will likely be ~$28

Round Hem Skipper Popover
Normally $98, sale price $64
Jack Rogers Sandals / Spanx Jeans
The Skipper Popover! Another Lilly classic. There are tons of Skipper Popovers because they’re one of Lilly’s most versatile products. I wear mine as an everyday sweatshirt during the fall and winter but also throw it into my beach bag in case I get chilly as the sun starts to go down. The inside is a soft Terry, so I’ve used it to dry off after swimming, too. Oh, and I wear it while exercising (meaning speed walking the stroller) because it looks like athleisure. Haha–See?! Very versatile!
It runs slightly big, but I still go with my usual small. If you want a more fitted look, go down one size.
Round Hem Skipper Popover: Normally $98, sale price $64
Love your beach pictures. I’m a Jersey girl- Bergen County and vacation on LBI. No better place then the Jersey shore!
I live in Ontario, pretty close to Toronto. I like it here, although I’m ready for all things Covid-19 to be over!
I’m looking at snagging some luxletic. I would also like to snag a vest if any are included! I’m from Michigan and still live here. Our plans are to stay in Michigan. Fun fact: Madonna apparently is from my city but claims she is from Detroit. If I were to move I would love to live in Key West for at least a little while. As for why I would like to win your spare Margot dress? Because I happen to wear an xs/s and it’s free Lilly :) Enjoyed your post and thanks for the sale tips!
South Bend, IN go Irish go! (I would love to win the dress, too!)
Love the photos but the videos on your stories made me giggle! We are currently in Texas (originally from Florida) and really miss our friends and family after several months being stuck here. Fun fact: I’m a veterinarian but I am allergic to all cats!
I live in Indianapolis, grew up in Northwest Indiana (aka The Region). I do love it here, but ideally would like to escape winter and move to Florida, maybe in a few years!
Such cute pictures! I live in Arlington, VA and I love it! I was born and raised there, and went to school in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia about 2 hours away. The only downside of the DC/MD/VA area is the humidity in the summer (it’s pretty oppressive), but we try and escape to OCNJ for a few weeks every summer to spend time with my husband’s family! Best of both worlds :)
I live in Tampa, FL and love it here! I grew up in FL and can’t get enough of the beach. We love to go boating on the weekends and enjoy being outdoors year round.
I would love to win the Margot dress! It’s super cute!
I just moved to Lake Zurich, IL – a suburb about 40 min outside of Chicago. Brand new apartment, and a fresh start for the rest of 2020! I love living in the Chicago suburbs and could never imagine leaving!
*tap* *tap* Ahem. Hi, first time commenter – long time lurker. My little family (hubs, 4yo daughter, 10yo ancient english bulldog) is out in San Diego. We moved out here from the east coast (math…carry the one…) twelve years ago to chase a job. I didn’t know exactly where was SD in California before we moved. In fact, I asked my hubs on the plane ride if there would be palm trees like in the movies? (Cringing just remembering that.) It feels odd that we’re raising a Cali girl and she’ll no doubt grow up surfing and riding a skateboard.
I live outside Atlanta – moves here 29 years ago after college and thought I’d be here for a year or two and move back to New England – but here I still am – while I Miss the northeast abs my family Atlanta suburbs were a great place to raise a family!
Hey Larkin fam! We’re currently living in Kailua, Hawaii! The Marine Corps brought us here and will take us away to our next adventure in due time (hopefully not too soon). We love the aloha spirit and 365 days of perfect weather.
We’re about to have our first child in December. It’s a girl so we’ve been stocking up on all the matching Lilly gear
I love that dress!! Would love to win it
I am currently in Houston! Grew up in the Chicago suburbs, went to Vanderbilt, and worked for a teaching fellowship program in Houston in the summers. It’s called Breakthrough Collaborative and it is a program for gifted underprivileged students – it’s my heart and soul! Met my husband in church here and he’s a native so I guess I’m stuck here for now. Hoping to move to NC in the next few years, I need mountains and 4 seasons in my life!
Hey, I’m frim Baltimore, MD lived here all my.life. My parents live at the beach and Lilly is perfect there. Fun fact, just had a baby. We have a boy and two girls now. Lastly I want to win the dress so.
I live in the Boston area and have been here ever since college! I grew up in CT and my parents still live there, so I like that I’m not too far from them! I also like that I’m not super far from some good mountains for skiing in the winter. I’d love to win the Margot dress as well!
My family and I currently live in Jackson, TN (the town that Johnny & June Cash sang about.) We’re right in the middle of I-40 so just about an hour drive to Memphis and 2 hour drive to Nashville. We love it here!
I’m from suburbs of Philly… fun fact: my mom and stepdad just bought a place in ocean city where they will live full time after retirement in a few weeks. I grew up vacationing there and can’t wait to make new memories with my little girl- another Lucy! She’s already a lilly lover at 3 :) would love to win the dress too!!
I would love to win the dress! Your try on is fantastic! I’m from Baltimore, I went to college in the area and got a teaching job shortly thereafter- haven’t left since!
I live in NH which has been great for Covid – not too many people and everyone has been following the rules on the whole!
I live in St. Louis… not my favorite place… not a lot of opportunities to wear Lilly! Want to be more east coast like Maine! My husband and I hope to retire there.
So excited about the sale! I live in a small town in South Carolina ( about an hour away from Charlotte, NC). I have lived here my entire life and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Lilly is pretty popular here. The only bad thing about living in the south is that the weather changes all the time! It can be 79 and sunny in December one day, and then snow the next!
I live in Richmond, VA! Originally from Northwest Ohio, but moved here about a year ago after graduating college for some warmer weather and more mild winters.
I’d love to win the Margot dress
I’ve been in NC all my life! We love the accessibility to both the beach and the mountains. I did my undergrad at Appalachian State and got to spend 3.5 years in some of the most beautiful mountains! My husband and I are both in law school in the State, and I have a feeling we’ll be staying here! We’re both from NC and all of our family is here too.
I’d love to win the dress!
Hi Kelly! I love where we live—we live on one of the finger lakes in upstate NY! Funny story—when my boyfriend and I first started talking, he was living in this house. He invited me over, but we had JUST started talking so I turned him down! He ended up moving out about two weeks later, but fast forward 2 years and we’ve been living here for a year together! We also just bought a boat! One of the fun facts about the lake that I like to tell people is that the water level gets SO low in winter! Like, 20ish feet out from where it normally is! Our neighbor’s dock is on completely dry land by Christmas. I would love to win the Margot dress as well!! So cute. Thanks for all you do! I can’t wait to have a mini me so we can match like you, Emma, and Lucy! :)
Oh gosh, I hate this question. I guess I am “from” Indiana. But I went to school in Maryland and I just bought my first house in Florida! Adult life means you get to pick where you live!
The Margot is a favorite dress of mine to throw on for a quick and cute look! I’d love to win it!
I currently live in Manhattan Kansas for my internal medicine residency but will be moving again in about 3 years after I finish. I’m unsure about where I’ll go…. either back to Chicago where I am from or somewhere south like Georgia. But that is a time off. My work is limiting the amount of students at work and in certain rooms and we are not allowing clients to being their dogs into the vet school to limit exposure. Thanks so much, hope I win.
I am from Columbia, MO! I have grown up here, and currently live in my childhood home. I am a 3rd year medical school student, so going through the pandemic has been ROUGH. We got pulled out last spring – luckily I was still “pre-clinical” (AKA doing book work), so I did not miss out on patient contact time. I did, however, have my board exam scheduled/rescheduled and relocated multiple times. A big headache. Right now I am in my clinical years, and seeing so many patients!!! So wonderful! THIS is what I went to school for! Trying to figure out what I want to do – psychiatry?! Family medicine?! Pediatrics?! NOT surgery. I am constantly afraid we are going to be pulled out again. Also constantly worried about my family members in healthcare on the front lines everyday. And my sweet, sweet teacher cousins. Living at home right now has it perks – including the old Nintendo 64 we just rediscovered and set up! Have been studying a lot, but also busting out all kinds of board games.
I would love to win the dress!
I’m a native Floridian but left in 2001 after high school. When I moved back in 2014 to be closer to family, I ended up falling in love with one of my high school friends, and now we’re married and living in St. Pete with our beautiful dog.
Hey guys! I was born and raised in Freehold. Home of The Boss and many generations of my family. Normally we would be spending the summer down the jersey shore and I was straight up drooling when I saw you guys were at browns! I’ve been thinking about a cinnamon donut ever since! Unfortunately recouping from surgery so my beach adventures have to wait – would love some retail therapy (and that adorable dress) as a pick me up :)
Hi, following along from Pittsburgh PA!
Margot dress is would love to win!
I live on the Kentucky side of Cincinnati. We love the big city access but small town feels surrounding. I would love to win the dress as well!
If there’s a chance to win extra money for a Lilly sale… There’s a pretty good chance I’m going to enter. Thanks for the info on some of the items that will be included in the sale.
I live in a small town in Souteast Central Florida. It’s on “The Space Coast”…because it’s not too far from Cape Canaveral. The best thing about living here (since the Apollo Program in the 1960s) is that you never get tired of seeing the rocket launches. I can step outside, look north and watch the latest rocket/satellite as it takes off. Hearing the sonic boom is always a thrill…and if you’re close enough you can feel it shaking the ground. It just never gets old. I love it!
I would like to be entered in the dress giveaway…around here a Lilly dress with sleeves is perfect for fall. :) Thanks!!!

Girrrrrllllll! Your try-ons today were FIRE! We live just North of SLC in Utah – and loooove it! Probably will buy a plot at the cemetery a block from our house cuz I’m pretty positive I’m staying here til my dying day. I love that it’s so close to the city and so much access but our town feels like a small town. Everyone helps everyone. Just had hurricane winds which is just on trend for #2020 with absolutely devastating tree debris and power lines everywhere and the community response has been Amazinggggg. Really solidifies even further that I wanna be here. If you ever are this way you’ve got a place to stay! Ps: I wouldn’t say no to that cute dress
Hi, I’m Olivia, I’m a city transfer to small town America after getting married a year ago. My goal of having friends visit for the weekend for small town antique shopping has been ruin thanks to the virus. I too am bored…
Love to win the dress! Currently living in suburbs of Philly, originally from Northern NJ. Love to see you love the Jersey Shore!!
Hi! I’m Sarah. I live in Savannah, GA currently but I’m from Statesboro which is about an hour away. My husband was born and raised in Savannah, which is what led us here. I would also love to enter to win the extra Margot dress!
I grew up in New Hampshire, left for college and work, but returned to my home town to live! I have no plan on leaving my hometown, I love it so much!
I love in Connecticut with my brand new husband :)
I would love to win the dress or the gift card! My sister is about to have our first niece, and we would love to spoil her in Lilly!
Loved the try on session with your sweet girls. I’m a U of I alum and Florida transplant living in Naples Florida originally from Champaign.
I live in Bellingham, WA but am originally from the East Coast. I’m one of very few people out here who even knows what Lilly Pulitzer is and I love making a statement with the colorful tops and dresses out here in the Pacific Northwest! A fun fact, my father’s family was friends with Lilly Pulitzer’s extended family and one Christmas when my dad was about 14, Lilly sent him a blazer with what he thought was a palm tree print. When wearing it out, his brother pointed out to my teenage dad that they weren’t palm trees but penises
I’d love to be in the running for the Margot dress too!
Hi. I’ve been following you for a while. I love your everyday life to life. Your girls are adorable. I’m currently in Orlando FL. It’s been pretty tough with shorter hours to work. The bright colors in Lilly clothes make my rainy days brighter.
I plan to be on to see what’s available. I like Lily as it promotes an easy style. That has passed on to my youngest who loves the colors and dresses. We had a hard time leaving the LP boutique on HHI. So much pretty.
I usually live in Washington, DC but I was in North Palm Beach, Fl for vacation during the second week in March and I never left! I’ve been lucky to work completely remotely from here ever since. EVERYONE WEARS LILLY HERE ALL YEAR LONG! I’m definitely lacking in that department. My family has a house here and I’m so glad I’ve been able to stay the whole time – it’s been a much different experience I think than staying in a big city like DC would be. I’m kind of thinking of staying! I think it may take a while for all of the things that I usually love about living in DC (like Nats baseball!) to be open to the public and enjoyable again.
I live in North Carolina. I just moved here last year for college. I love living here so much. Its beautiful and the weather is great. I think I’m satisfied living here for the rest of my life. Random fact: I have a twin sister (identical). Email:tajamie03@gmail.com
Hello! I am from a suburb just north of Buffalo, NY. Both my parents grew up in the area, and my dad has never left our village. He grew up four streets over and bought his first house down the street from where we are now! It’s nice to be able to walk around our neighborhood and not worry about being too close to others and get some fresh air. We’ve been blessed with some great weather these past few months. I work in a special needs pre-school and our school year just started last week. It has been QUITE the adjustment but the kids have been doing very well. It’s stressful for all, but glad we are able to help out the parents who need to get to work and help the kids continue to make progress!
P. S. I would love to win the dress!
I’m in Pittsburgh! Born and raised. My husband and I live ten minutes from my parents! I would also love to win the dress!
Random fact- I’m a teacher and second grade kids are better at wearing masks than some adults I see ;)
Midwest is best! Been here my whole life with no plans to leave. I’d also love be entered for the dress. Thanks!
Hi!! Having my good days and bad days like everyone else. Born in Manhattan but raised on Long Island .Loving your content especially right now with pictures of the Jersey Shore. I miss the Jersey Shore. From K-12th, every summer either for 1-2 weeks, my family would vacation in LBI (Beach Haven). Such a wonderful happy time. Now, I’m in 30’s, I gotten to experience the Jersey Shore as an adult and still makes me so happy. My dream would move down south (I don’t like winter) and have a vacation home in Beach Haven NJ.
I’m from bardstown, ky!! Bourbon capitol of the world!! Typically this coming weekend is the bourbon festival and it brings in bourbon enthusiasts from all over the world! I’ve worked so many events over the years and met so many interesting people from across the world!
This year it’s going to be ‘virtual’…still haven’t quite understood that but I’ll be having a Bardstown Mule (Moscow Mule sub vodka for bourbon) to celebrate though!
This time last year my boyfriend and I went to dinner at a distillery prior to attending the bourbon fest and he asked me to be his girlfriend that night…and a year later we’re making plans for him to move here from Louisville, Ky!! Yay!! Sharing this made me realize what a great life I have even amidst the pandemic!!
Love your family and noodle!!
I’m in Seattle and honestly, things could be a lot better but they could also be worse. This weekend we’ve been trapped inside since there is a “supermassive smoke cloud” (to quote NOAA) over us. My toddler keeps grabbing his shoes and asking to go outside and it’s so hard to tell him no.
I live outside of Annapolis, Md. I grew up outside of Baltimore and love Maryland so much! I just moved back after being out of state for a while, I couldn’t stay away!
I live in Charlotte NC! Moved back a few years ago, I grew up here! Small business/restaurant owner! Covid sucks and has put a damper on the business! I love looking through all the Lilly prints for a brighter day !!!!
I live in Connecticut! I grew up here, I love that we’re so close to the beach… this summer we practically lived there! I don’t love the loooooooong winters. Pandemic is crazy here because we’re close to NYC. We talk about moving south one day.. maybe FL or NC… Would love to win the giveaway or the extra dress! thanks!
Currently live in Utah for grad school and DEFINITELY didn’t think we would be here all the way from Georgia! We miss the south but are having a lot of fun in the great outdoors!
My favorite pictures of my kids are beach pics taken in Lilly outfits ❤️
Hello! I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have lived in South Florida for most of my life (went away for college). It’s a beautiful place to live. Sometimes I wish I could move to the mountains for a change…maybe in our retirement years! Thanks for the sale sneak peek. Hoping I can snag a few of the items you showed! And yes to the dress please
Would love to win the dress! Met my husband at school in San Diego and we have lived here ever since. We have an almost 3 year old and hope to settle down roots here.
South Carolina is the place to be! We have mountains and beaches. It’s always on the warm side here, too, so Lilly can be worn year around!
I’d love to win the Margot dress!
All such great looks. I can’t wait to snag the elsa top and matching Harper dress for my mini!
I live in moorestown nj (right outside of philly) and in the summer go to LBI and cape may. Also went to FU for a year then transferred to Udel. Loved it though! Just wanted a bigger school in the end.
I currently live in Chicago (Lakeview East so slightly north of the Larkins)! I moved after college for a job and have been here since – I love living in the city (even in the midst of a pandemic and living on a sore street gives me a quieter street with quick and easy access to the main thoroughfares! Growing up in the Midwest, I’ve always loved Chicago and have never wanted to live anywhere else!
Would love to win the dress too :)
Hello! I love your adorable pictures and hilarious Instagram stories, they made my day! I am from Pittsburgh PA, but right now I’m living in my dorm room at Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem NC. Being a college student during the pandemic has certainly not been what I thought this year would look like but it has certainly been an adventure! My roommates and I have had a lot of bonding time and have made lots of treats in our air fryer named Mikey (he looks like Mike W from monsters inc) since the communal kitchen is closed. We have made everything from cookies, to Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi, to churros, and even cinnamon sugar donut Cheerios. We have hand some fails but also some great successes and lots of fun times! We have also become parents to a beta fish that we named Bufanda (scarf in Spanish). Even though I may miss in person classes and football games, these new times have given me time to make great friendships and memories that I would not trade for anything. I would love to win the Margot dress, as well as the gift card!! I hope your family has a wonderful rest of vacation! Xoxo, Maggie
Great Pics! Love the fit comments too.
I’m from the mountains in Virginia. It’s beautiful here and the people are so nice. We love to travel, but it’s nice loving where we live because coming home is great too. I love to live somewhere that I know the school teachers, police officers, mailmen, and grocery workers. Our essential workers have always been awesome and during the pandemic they proven to be even more so.
Hi- I’m from Yorktown, VA and have lived in Virginia my entire life. I first started following your blog because of my daughter showing me pictures of Noodle and now I love seeing your family, decorating, life, recommendations, etc. College Emma is the best! Living on the East Coast means we are not far from beaches, yet we also have mountains in Virginia, so it’s the best of both worlds. We are also close to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and vacation there several times a year. There are so many cute Lilly pieces in the sale!
Cathy from Atlannuh ;) It’s so unbearably hot here for someone who grew up in the North! Some Lilly styles would set me up fine for waiting out this weather and covid!
Hi Larkin family! I live in CT :-) I was brought here by my parents many, many years ago when my dad transferred from Michigan. I have lived here my entire life and I have raised 3 children who are now spread out all over the country. I think about retiring to the Mid-Atlantic area but CT has it all! Close to Boston and NY and only hours drive to stunning mountains and beaches. Glad you had a chance to experience CT yourself!
Love your outfit try on!! Your girls in the matching dresses makes me want 100 daughters I’m also a LP resident and former OCNJ frequenter!! Nothing better than the shore at the end of summer, the sunsets keep me going all year. You guys should get some boardwalk cotton candy to match your dresses Hope you have a great trip!
Sorry there were several emojis in there in place of punctuation! Noted for next time!
Hi Kelly! I grew up in the southwest burbs of Chicago! We lived downtown for 8 years and then came back out to Oswego, Il. Looks like you are having a great trip home!
I am a prek teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools. We are starting the year virtually. I’d love a new dress to spruce up my virtual attire! I am originally from outside Philly and moved here for the job, even met my husband here!
I currently live in Lincolnwood, IL just outside of the city. After a year of dating I left my apartment in the city to move in with my boyfriend. The house is unique because both my boyfriend’s grandmothers have lived in this house. While we might be making updates, we are still keeping the character and sentimental feelings in the house. Bonus is that the yard is large and amazing! We have talked about moving, but both our families are within 15 minutes so unless our jobs make us move, I think we will be here forever.
Hi Kelly – I would love to win the gift card or the Margot dress!! I also grew up in Yardley (LOVE LOVE LOVE bagel train) but most recently lived in NYC (Ess-A-Bagel is also AMAZING). We moved to Princeton last month… it seemed safer during COVID with our baby girl.
I live in Durham, N.C. and I moved here for college! I’m loving it here dispite all the craziness going on right now. Durham is great because we have tons of great restaurants and a LEMUR CENTER! After here, I’m thinking of moving to Boston!
Also, I’d love to be considered for your extra Margot Dress! I’ll be wearing it to dress up while taking online classes at Zoom University. :D Stay safe everyone!
I live in a small town in Massachusetts, where I grew up. I love how close it is to Boston, the Cape and family in RI. I’d love to win the dress to wear back to school…the colors match a lot of my classroom decor
Love your pictures and how much fun y’all have as a family! I live in South Carolina near Myrtle
Beach, my husband and moved here for his medical residency and because his family lived here. We love it and are so happy to be near family and the beach, feels like we won the lottery! We just had a little boy in July, I can’t wait to take him to the beach once it cools off a bit and your adorable pictures with your girls make me even more excited! I’d love to win the dress
Hi! I’m Erin from a smallllll town outside of Tampa. Born and raised here and love everything about florida. I’m an emergency medicine PA, but currently spending the next 10ish weeks off after having hip surgery (no I promise I’m not 90 years old). I found you because of noodle! I also have a mini dachshund, who’s name is hershey. Early this year he did proceed to eat 182 grams of hershey chocolate so that was a really fun experience, but apparently he needed to live up to his name!
Currently my husband I are living In our summer condo in Saugatuck, Mi! It’s a little beach town on the Lake Michigan shore. Have you heard of it? We actually have many tourists from Illinois visiting here in the summer months. It’s been such a nice little oasis during Covid. We have a pool right in front of our condo on the water, and we also have a boat. Our grandchildren can swim in the pool and when it starts to get busy, we head out on Lake MI, pull up along the lakeshore and we have our own private beach!
I bought my first Margot swing dress at the Afterparty sale last year. I absolutely LOVE it! It’s perfect to wear here in Saugatuck anytime! I’d love another one!
I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma and I have lived here my whole life!! I absolutely love it and when I graduate college this spring I plan to stay in Tulsa to teach ☺️
I’m from Austin, Texas and ended up here for husbands job. But I’m originally from Australia, so I like the way it’s like… close,,, in spelling.
Also, I’d love to win the Margot!
Hello! Chandler here! I live in Fort Myers, Florida! I moved here with my boyfriend about 2 years ago when I graduated from college and got a job! We’re hoping in the next few years to move somewhere new though, not sure yet! Let me know if you have any suggestions :)
I live in beautiful Yardley Boro, Pa and ended up here completely by accident looking for a new home to shorten my commute to NYC. Growing up in the greater Philadelphia area has made me a Lilly lover since I was young. It’s sad that our small town has canceled all the traditional Fall and Holiday events for 2020 but safety must come first and we will get through it together! #GetHereNow2021!
Hi! Love your blog! I’m from Wilmington, NC on the coast! Born and raised love it here. We have a downtown area, beaches, boating, lots of outdoor activities to do – fun city! Our city is doing pretty well with COVID (fingers crossed it’s going to stay that way).
I would love to win the dress!
I Live more in the southern part of PA. I grew up there and after college started working for a company that I dreamed of working at since high school!!! I also lived near where they used to do the large Lilly sales in person!! I’d like to win the dress!!!
I love the Margot dress – it’s my favorite style. So flattering. Unfortunately I’m not a small. But I highly endorse that style! I live in Los Angeles. I’ve been following you since 2018 (I think) and I found you when I was trying to decide between the LL Bean Boot or the Sperry Saltwater (I went with the Sperry because I live in LA and it barely rains here).
Hi Kelly :) I normally live in Washington DC, but since the pandemic have been living in Kentucky with my parents and brothers. We didn’t grow up here (native to CT) but my parents relocated a few years ago. My brothers and I are all in our mid twenties and it’s been fun (and at times angsty) being back all together under one roof—feels like I’m a teenager all over again!
My husband and I live in beautiful Savannah! We love that our little city is so walkable And has fabulous dining with lots of outdoor options which has been nice in the pandemic. Savannah is great because we have history, islands, and so many unique neighborhoods. I grew up about 5 hours away in the mountains, but Savannah and the coast have my heart. If I were to live anywhere else, it would need to be near the water – somewhere like Fairhope, AL or Sanibel Island!
I would love to win the Margot dress!! I have been wanting one for a while! :)
Hi!!! My name is Hallie and I’m originally from Connecticut! I just moved to Evanston, Illinois yesterday to pursue my doctor of audiology degree! I am completely alone and know like 6 people in this entire state and no one in the city (not including you, Mitch, and your girls because I don’t actually know you guys just feel like I do ). I am 22 and super broke!! I will not be able to have any more than a part time job for the next 2 years because of school but I have a major weakness for Lily!! I love all of your recommendations so much (those water proof booties from the Nordstrom sale you recommend SAVED me yesterday as I moved in while it was raining). I would love to add more of the lily luxletic line as I walk around and explore my new city and take online classes from my new apartment!! Also the skipper popover is adorable!!
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida but now skittering around SC where my husband is a United Methodist minister. We currently reside in Myrtle Beach. Not as nice as Gulf beaches to me, but any coastline is better than none.
I’m a Chicagoan too! I currently live in Rogers Park and am originally from the suburbs. I love that Rogers Park is on the lake, and easy street parking is a major bonus, but I wouldn’t mind living a little closer to downtown. I would love to win the dress too!
Big fan from Buffalo, NY and I probably started following during a Lilly sale at one point!! I moved here for work (originally from downstate closer to NYC) and promptly quarantined less than two months after. Thankfully I also moved here to be with my bf so at least I had a quarantine buddy! But our apartment is small and if we hAve to do this all over again, I will definitely need to invest in a real desk. Although the city seems to be doing well so hopefully we are still on the up and up!
Of course I would love to win the Margo dress!!! I work in sports, which is pretty male dominated so I always get a laugh when I wear Lilly to work and all I hear all day is “whoa that dress is pretty bright.”
I live in Ann Arbor. It is awesome. Perfect mix of college town and small city! A little different to be in a college town during coronatimes right now but usually a great spot for our little family.
We are in Bay Village, Ohio. A little town outside of Cleveland. We absolutely love it, a sweet little beach town on the Northcoast.
I live in Chicago! I used to be a Lincoln Park girl for 4 years (yay DePaul!) but now I live in Lakeview. I grew up in Southern Illinois. While it’s definitely 2 different world, I think I’ll stay here.
Pandemic wise, I guess I’ve gotten used to it? I’m excited to receive my “Ew, Covid” mask I ordered (from The Home T!).
Random story: I broke my blender on Friday. It fell out of the cabinet and the glass shattered on the ground. Lesson: take the extra 10 seconds and take things out of the cabinet intead of trying to wriggle them around each other.
Good heavens, those matching outfits – be still my heart! Taking notes for my future children, LOL!
I’m a Georgia girl – but no, not anywhere near Atlanta! I’m basically at the Florida border, so we get four seasons – summer, almost summer, still summer, and fall, which lasts one day and may come anytime between November and March. The heat is a lot, but all of my family is here, so I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
I would love to win the extra dress!!
Love these pics! Emma is the cutest! I live in Yonkers,NY in a 1 bedroom with my boyfriend. It’s been TIGHT as we both are WFH. Trying to buy a house but the market in Westchester is insane at the moment. Pray for us
I want to win this dress! It’s adorable!
Hi! I love I’m able Air, Maryland. Moved here for my job.
Fun fact: had a bag during the pandemic…not at all how we pictured the arrival our first kid when we found about him!
I’d love an entry for the dress! Momma needs some new clothes!
Hi! I’m a New England girl. I grew up in Connecticut, went to College and lived in Boston, then moved to southern Maine. I currently live on the coast in Scarborough, Maine. I love coastal New England. I have family in Ct but Maine has been a great clean and beautiful place to raise a family. Some of my favorite New England places are Kennebunkport, ME, Martha’s Vineyard, MA, Newport, RI, Madison, Ct. I love to wear Lilly on the coast. Summer is my favorite season but my two boys play hockey so I survive the winter. I’d also love to win that Margot dress! Your photos are beautiful!
My favorite current print is Isla De Coco. If I won I would buy The Brewster tshirt dress.
I currently live in Richmond, Virginia, but I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia (my parents still live there and it’s only about an hour away from Richmond). Charlottesville definitely has my heart for sure–stunning mountains, rolling hills, and tons of fun wineries/ orchards/ museums with amazing views. People say it is has a small-town feel with big-city amenities, and that is very true, although more and more people are moving there. Maybe someday my husband and I will move back, but I am glad it is so close for visits!
So cute! I love your blog! Your girls are a few months older than mine, so I love seeing your adventures! I’m from Annapolis and would love to win the dress. If I ever go anywhere again it would be great!
I’m in Madison, Wisconsin. Originally from a smaller town near there. I will probably be here forever! Madison had its own little communities within itself. There’s the college town aspect which can be fun and exciting at times (especially on football game days!), the political side with the state captiol and associated “fancy” dining, a young professional community…..it’s all great! Plus you have the four (4!) lakes in the summer!
I live in Kirksville, Missouri. I grew up in Illinois and my first job was here. I planned to stay long enough to get experience to find a job in the city but met my husband and have stayed here! My 2 favorite places to visit are Walt Disney World and Sanibel Island which is right by where my best friend lives. We have been friends for almost 40 years!
I live in Mystic, CT. We actually live in the super old house my husband grew up in but remodeled it. It’s a tourist destination in the summer but I love it most in fall when things quiet down.
Usually I’d be in New York City, but I’ve ended up with my boyfriend in my Jersey. Gotta admit, I miss the noise. Traffic noises > crickets and bugs buzzing
I’m in Lees Summit, MO via Fort Worth, TX. I grew up in FW and lived in the metroplex until my husband was transferred here in 2016. I love it here( much more laid back and less pretentious than Dfw), but we miss our family in TX. We are about to be first time grandparents and and on major alert as our daughter is due any day! I work part time in a elder care skilled nursing facility (aka nursing home) and needless to say it’s been a stressful year. Our family is blessed enough to have our job’s, health, and the means to see our family. But tbh, this whole year has been depressing and I’ve not taken care of myself like I have religiously done in the past. I keep buying Lilly, cabi, all the brands and all the beauty products in hopes that I will creel confident enough to get “dressed up”, but I have motivation. I am so lucky compared to the majority of people and I still can’t get it together. I’m probably sharing too much, you asked and but that’s where I am♀️ I love keeping up with you and your fam! I’m so jealous of college Emma. I am so thankful for you, Krista, Jess, and Lemonstripes for introducing me to Dudley Stephens…game changer!
Obviously, I did not proofread this but you get the point
I’m born and raised on Long Island! Currently in our first home on the North Shore, Centerport (you’d love the cute beach town) it’s near Huntington!! Fellow LI’er!!! Loving all the Lilly!!! Hope to match with my little girl (she is almost 8 months, named Emilia but we call her Millie) ❤️❤️
Hey Kelly! Samantha here. I technically live in Chicago but escaped to my hometown (Newtown, CT) back in March to quarantine with my family – heading back to Chicago in a week though. I’m definitely a little nervous but we’ve got to make the most of the lives we have right now, right!?
I’m not going to spend too much time describing Chicago, I’m fairly certain you known it well already ;) but I’m not sure how much longer I have here (there?). My introduction to the city wasn’t great and a little violent, and it’s been an uphill climb since. BUT I’m about to finish my masters in public policy at UChicago which has truly been life-changing. A group of us even started a non-profit this summer in partnership with some professional athletes to raise money for local community organizations. Our first campaign built a grocery store in the Austin neighborhood to help alleviate the food desert situation there and our current campaign with the Chicago Sky has raised $100k for Firehouse Arts and Future Ties. Our next campaign is with the Bears and we’re focusing on how to engage Illinoisans with actual IL legislation that will help combat systemic racism and better serve minority communities. It’s truly amazing. Like we’re actually making a real difference. Which is all I’ve ever wanted to do!
As for Lilly…ugh I feel like I’m writing you my sob story but I promise you it’s not sad. It’s just my hand of life, you know? So please know, this is not a putty party – just the only mechanism I have to share my love for Lil and provide you and Mitch with some entertainment!
But anyway. Lilly and Me. She’s my girl. My very first Lilly dress was my high school graduation dress. High school was really rough for me. I won’t go into details but graduating from Newtown High and never looking back, heading to school our in southern Ohio seemed like it was about to be the most epic adventure. Lilly was, in that moment, a window into a life, a version of myself it was not previously safe to be – a window to my truest self. After that first dress, I acquired a few pieces here and there from secondhand stores and, believe it or not, our TJ Maxx! Since we weren’t too far, my mom and I even drove to the King of Prussia warehouse sale. We slept in our car in the parking lot and everything. It was such a fun day. And it cemented my love for Lilly forever. Not only was she my window to my the self – putting on a shift made me forget my lumpy hips, or my bony body. I just looked like a girl – a happy, bright, sunny girl. For, you see, I was battling what I eventually learned were a handful of autoimmune and chronic illnesses. And what I had always thought were body imagine issues were really part of something much bigger. But Lilly always made it go away. She made me feel unstoppable, strong, beautiful and I loved how I felt wearing her dresses, etc.
I grew into my “adult women’s” body and most of those dresses from college no longer fit. They’re stored away from my daughter (fingers crossed!) some day. And while those dresses no longer fit, I have treated myself to a new dress or item here and there on special occasions- my first marathon, first promotion, the perfect pattern I couldn’t stop thinking about. And every time, no matter where I am in my journey, when I put her on, I am reset. I am powerful. I am able to see and feel how beautiful I am, past the illnesses and struggles. I know it seems so silly to put so much weight into a dress. But I don’t think that’s what it is at all. Lilly unleashes something in me I’m still struggling to rectify. And I promise you, when I become the first female president, I’ll be wearing a tweed Lilly. It’s already in my closet. Just waiting for me :)
So uh yeahhhhh I’m super interested in the gift card and dress!! This Lilly would celebrate the progress I’ve made in managing my chronic illnesses through this pandemic. I’m back to running and paddle boarding on our tiny lake in Newtown as often as possible. Some days, moving is so so hard. But on the days it isn’t, I’m taking life by the horns and running with it. Just as Lilly would want ;)
If nothing else comes out of this, I’m glad I have unlimited characters to say to you and Mitch how sweet and kind your daughters are. You’re clearly stellar parents to be raising such genuinely kind girls. You guys are like a beacon of hope. Not that life will be perfect or anything but that surviving struggles, being kind, and doing your best truly begets happiness!
I just hope you’re doing well through this pandemic. It’s so hard – to not get to frolic in our Chicago and safely enjoy all our favorite things and places and people. I know I’m literally a stranger and I’m sure you have very strict rules about engaging with followers but you and your family bring such joy to so many, if I could ever return the favor, I would love to! Maybe we’ll bump into each other some day around the city. But if we don’t, I’m always rooting for you and glad you’re here :)
Be well, Larkins!

I live in Indiana with my husband and three cats. It’s finally starting to feel like fall with less humidity and cooler temperatures, which help us enjoy time outdoors. We moved here for work and found a quiet community that we love, and we are enjoying the revitalization in the area and love seeing new small businesses and restaurants open in the area. Things are normal here regarding the pandemic, and most people are not concerned. We are of course, wearing masks in public, especially indoors, because it’s statewide mandate. Fun fact: we are planning to visit Japan soon, and want to see if this is a country we’d like to relocate to eventually. I’ve been watching lots of restaurant/ how to live in Japan/ how to travel throughout the country, what to eat, where to shop, so I’m definitely craving sushi! So excited to shop the LP APS tomorrow! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. :)
I live about an hour North of Atlanta. I grew up in flat Florida so I love seeing the mountain views and actually getting to experience seasons!
I would like to win that dress :)
The tryons are super helpful! That the only reason I picked that white dress from the sale ( the one you wore on the beach in yesterday’s post). I would have totally overlooked that because I really don’t wear white that much.
I live in a suburb just north of Houston TX. The pandemic was tough early on and then we got into somewhat of a routine. I have been back to my office since mid-May. We did a road trip to steamboat spring CO this summer. I highly recommend! It was a welcomed change of scenery and relief from the heat for us. And we were so lucky to have some help from Pop for the last month when school started again.
Sign me up for the dress giveaway please!
I live in Northern Ky near Cincinnati. Have lived here and loved it all my life. We love to go to beaches in the summer. I would love to win the extra Margot dress. So cute!!
COVID is not too bad in Ky. We have missed out on a lot trying to keep everyone safe. The prize would be fun to shop for next year’s vacation!
I was born and raised in a small town outside Orlando, FL where my family has been for 100 years. I moved back to Orlando after college and love it! There’s so much more to Central Florida than 99% of tourists realize, and I love sharing my favorite swimming holes and seafood shacks with all my Yankee friends. :) Fun story to demonstrate my utter Florida-ness: during a vacation to North Carolina, we visited Chimney Rock, where you have the option to take a long path of stairs or an old elevator to the top. Having lived my whole life in flat Florida, I don’t have much perception of elevation change or the difficulty of stair climbs, so I asked a Chimney Rock employee roughly how many lighthouses the path of stairs was equivalent to. I still get teased for that one. :)
I currently live in Winston Salem, NC. I grew up here and moved back after undergrad. It’s a pretty quiet city within perfect distance to both the beach and mountains. I’m currently in back in school to pursue nursing. I’ll be moving to Texas in January when I graduate. PS I would love the Margot dress:)
Hey! I currently live in the Hartford, CT area…moved there for my full time job post undergrad, but born and raised in Boston, so not terribly far! Though I will say, some times that short distance can still be pretty different! Different laws (like happy hour is legal in CT, which is a GAME CHANGER!!!) and it’s funny to me that many people in CT consider themselves as part of the “tri-state area” and not part of New England…and fans of NY sports teams!! Definitely took an adjustment to get used to having NY Giants games take precedent over the Patriots in certain scenarios! I do enjoy it though! CT has handled the pandemic pretty well it seems, went on lock down fairly early on and seems to have been held the positivity rates down. I don’t think I could ever move out of the north east full time, but I do love Chicago, and Florida has a special place in my heart as well — except I would never want to have to actually work if I lived there, sooooo that probably wouldn’t work out hahah!
Also, would totally LOVE to win the extra Margot dress! So, please consider me!!
Love reading all your content, keep it up!! Thanks!
I live in the suburbs of StL, but I’m originally from Springfield, Illinois. Springfield is the capital which people usually forget. Growing up I always thought the Lincoln stuff was super boring but as an adult I now truly have a special appreciation for honest Abe.
I’m a Florida girl! I was born and raised in Naples, came to college in orlando, and decided to stay! I love Orlando- it’s diverse, loads of things to do (non theme park related), and the food scene is great here. I have family in NY and have come close to moving a few times. I’m a mental health counselor and have strong connections to the community here, so it seems like Orlando will remain home. The pandemic has been interesting. Being a therapist, work has gotten very hectic, but people are managing ok. I wish more people would be responsible and wear their masks. Bars are opening at 50% tomorrow, which is scary to me. I just worry about another surge in cases.
Ooh and I’d love a chance to win the dress too!
We are where it all started!!! ( well very close to it.) We live in Boynton Beach but Palm Beach is just 10 min from us. Palm Beach county definitely has its up and downs. Pandemic related we are still pretty locked right. They are just now slowly “talking” about entering phase two. Hopefully soon. Fingers crossed.
And yes yes yes to the Margot dress!!
Hi! Born and raised in OH and still living here. Overall, it’s a nice place to live, but I wish we were closer to the beach sometimes (just not during hurricane season). Fun fact from my son: rocket ships go into space!
I live in Fairmont, West Virginia. I went away for undergraduate and graduate, but returned home. I am happy to be living in my hometown, but love to travel too!
I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, 2 kids and our dog! Love seeing your pics at the beach. Glad you can spend time with your family. I wear a Small in Lilly dresses so I would love the Margot dress. I love matching my 3 year daughter so I would have to get Addison the mini version of the dress. You and the girls look adorable!
I live in Orlando, Florida as my husband and I relocated here late last fall for his job. We moved from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (which is where I was born and raised). I never thought I would live anywhere else, but my husband was offered a dream job opportunity and couldn’t pass it up.
I can’t say that I really know what’s it like to live in Orlando! I feel like I spent the first couple of months unpacking and then it was the holidays. We then had non-stop visitors from the new year until the pandemic, so I feel like I was basically living at the theme parks. It’s challenging to be here during the pandemic as Florida has been a hotspot. Fortunately, we’ve both stayed safe and healthy! We’re also far from all of our family and friends, which has been tough. I’ve been grateful for technology keeping us connected during this time!
Hi Kelly!! First of all, SO excited about this sale. Second of all, I am a fellow long islander (Nassau county) and I was living in the city but I broke my lease and moved back home with my parents due to the pandemic. My boyfriend also moved back home to his parents but lucky for us he’s only 20 minutes away (as everything is in Long Island traffic). I’m currently attending law school in NYC but it is all remote due to the pandemic so I take all of my classes from home and it is pretty difficult but I am adapting! I do love Long Island but I’m not sure if I will always live here, in the near future I hope to move back to the city. I hope you know I much I enjoy your blog and your instagram! Thanks for always making me smile.
Love this so much. I’m in Kalamazoo, MI but hoping to move back to the Detroit area before baby #2! Who knows when that’ll be -baby 1 is only 8 months old right now!
Would love to win the Lilly dress, because I’ve been WAY into buying clothes for my daughter, but haven’t been treating myself!
Fun fact? My daughter is in a helmet just like Lucy was! Love having your experience to reference as we go through the process :):)
Hi Larkins!
I live outside of NYC and have my whole life, I also teach ENL in the Bronx! I just got married in July to my college sweetheart of 9 years in a micro wedding. My husband is an ER doc and enjoying the “calm” before the second storm. Although there’s never a moment of calm in the ER! Hope Emma is enjoying being “back in school!”
I’m in love with the new print, seaing double.
I’m much excited to buy a ton of new mommy and mini outfits, I have to hold on to all these moments of my mini wanting to twin with me.
Fun fact; I meet lilly and have a signed copy of her book. I was at a baseball game (with my now husband), he had just bought me a Lilly looking usf hat when we found out that Lilly had passed, and I had a glass of champagne in her honor. Biggest fun fact, I had a Lilly Pulitzer wedding, which included table clothes (in Lilly pink and green, fabric) that Lilly had once ordered for one of her non-profit events.
I’m a Jersey girl living in Naples, FL. I loved your post when you visited here! I’m a beach girl and although I miss the energy of NYC, I love living here!
I’m a teacher who recently started back teaching both in person and online. It’s crazy to say the least, but I’m very grateful to be back in the classroom!
Hi! I live in Highland Park, IL! We did a COVID move to the suburbs from Wicker Park, and we loveee the suburbs. It is so peaceful, and we are a quick walk to the lake, which is great. I’m a special ed teacher! I teach at Evanston HS, but Before that I taught on the west side of Chicago for 5 years and in Washington, DC for 3 years. Love that you and Mitch have a teaching background. I also have a one year old daughter, Naomi. She’s the best.
I grew up and currently live in Minneapolis. Love living here and can’t picture ever wanting to live anywhere else. All of my family is here and love being close to them plus can’t beat all Minneapolis has to offer: so many fun parks, trails and things to do outside with the family!
I would like to win the dress!
I’m from Long Valley, NJ. A little town in North NJ, although I’m an ocean city girl at heart! I grew up here and absolutely love it! It is the prettiest in the fall we have an overlook that overlooks the whole town and it is breath taking! Long Valley is similar to Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls just without all of the crazy towns people! I just finished nursing school so that was a bit crazy during the pandemic! But I graduated yay! Now I’m preparing to take the boards so thats a bit stressful but this lilly sale is coming at just the right time!! I think I would like to stay in the tristate area or even move up to New England! Butttt, I’ve always wanted to live in London so maybe I’ll be a city girl for a bit! love your blog xoxo.
—-I am also interested in the Margot dress :)
Love the pictures and reviews! I’m from Bucks County (I know you’ve mentioned your ties to the area, too!), and teach high school English at one of our local districts. I love living here as it’s close to Philadelphia, New York, and the Jersey Shore, and for many more reasons. The pandemic has been tough, but teaching virtually has been the biggest challenge! We are virtual until the end of January, so trying to get into a routine and do the best I can for my students. Really looking forward to the Lilly sale- I need some retail therapy!
Sure, I’d love a chance at winning the extra dress, too!
Hi,
Fun giveaway! Margot—heck, yes! I live in Norfolk, VA but after 30 years of being in the Navy and later married to someone in the Navy I’ve moved 17 times. I’m a teacher now, and teaching during COVID with my classes both in person and online has been soul-crushing the past month. I wore a Margot dress to my husband’s Navy retirement a couple years ago and love it, so I would love to win one. Thanks so much! Kara
I live in Atlanta! Came here for college and ended up staying after finding a job. I personally think we are underrated in terms of food available. We have some many types of cuisines and styles of food available.
I’d like to win the Margot dress!
HI! long time lover of your blog! I’m from a little town in NJ (Long Valley) but I am obsessed with the jersey shore! I love LV but could definitely see myself moving up the coast to the New England area but then I could see myself living in NYC so who knows! But I love long valley because it is the cutest little town and gorgeous in the fall! I finished my nursing degree during the pandemic so that was crazy but I graduated (yay!) and I am now studying for my boards! This APS came at the PERFECT time so I can destress a little bit! Somewhere I’ve always wanted to live is Paris! I am interested in the Margot dress :)
Oops! accidentally posted twice I didn’t see my last post come through- so sorry! please don’t include this one in the randomizer!!!!!
Hi Kelly! I live in Bloomington/Normal! I love seeing your photos when you’re in town! So excited for the sale!
I’m also interested in the Margot dress giveaway!
Hey Kelly! I’m currently living in Salt Lake City and grew up in central Florida. We moved out here for my job (pediatric medical research & am currently working on COVID trials). My husband owns a BBQ restaurant. We love the beautiful Rocky Mountains and all of the national parks here. But I desperately miss the beach. (I’m not a fan of the cold or snow-ha ha! ). I love wearing Lily especially in the cold, dark winter months out here – it makes me feel warmer. Really looking forward to the APS this year!! I would love to win the Brewster dress. Love your blog!
Fave current print — La Zebra. I too live in Chicago, so we have that in common! Sweet Mandy B’s is my favorite bakery so love when you post there.
Hi Kelly and Mitch!
I’ve been following your blog for quite awhile now and I adore you guys! I’m 27 and had been living in NYC the least two years. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 I was laid off from my job and have been living with my parents in the Philly suburbs for the last 6 months. It’s been a wild ride to say the least! The silver lining is that I got accepted into a Master of Social Work program which I just started a few weeks ago! I’m really excited to complete my masters while on the hunt for a new job! I hope you guys are continuing to stay safe and healthy!
Hi Kelly! I grew up in the southwest burbs of Chicago! We lived downtown for 8 years and then came back out to Oswego, Il. Looks like you are having a great trip home!
I love this try-on – so many cute outfits and your kiddos are adorable! I am from the Champaign-Urbana area in Illinois and am looking forward to this Lilly sale. Also very interested in the Margot Size S giveaway!!
I am from Rochester, NY, and while the winter can feel a bit long and dark at times, I love the 4 seasons here. It is a beautiful area in all types of weather, and has so many parks, lakes, and forests for me and my pup to explore. We make sure to spend as much time enjoying the natural scenery as we can – I have a busy and stressful job and really rely on the outdoors for relieving stress and keeping a positive attitude. I also really appreciate being close to my family, especially my super-cute 1.5 year old nephew!
I’m Kelsey & I’ve been following your Instagram for a while, but started exploring your webpage during the pandemic. I live in Charleston, South Carolina & I’ve lived here my whole life. I used to live in the historic district, but now I live with my parents about 15 minutes from the main historic area. I went to college at the College of Charleston for both my undergrad & graduate degrees. I finished up grad school in May & have been looking for a job during the pandemic.
I love living here– it was such a special place to grow up & go to school. I’m hoping to move to either NYC or Boston! I want a big city with public transit & SNOW.
I’d also like to enter the Margot dress giveaway!
I live in upstate NY near the Thousand Islands and Lake Ontario. I live here, because I met my husband here and our families live nearby. I love all of the outdoor activities that we can do including spending time on the St. Lawrence River and in the Adirondack mountains. We may move someday, but probably stay on the east coast!
I live in Minnesota and I love it! We have all seasons, lakes, the best summers, fun winters, and the best cities (two for one, St Paul + Minneapolis)!
I live in Hershey PA – the sweets place in earth
Hi! I live in Northwest Indiana. I really love the seasons, so I like where I live. Sometimes I wish there was some more interesting scenery like mountains or a beach, but all in all, I do enjoy living here. All my family and my husband’s family live here too which makes it very nice and convenient! I’ve been getting my Dance 2020 on with the whole pandemic to have fun and stay fit, and while I probably look really silly dancing, who cares! It’s fun and makes me laugh!
I would really like to win the dress too. I’m either an XS or S in Lilly and I feel we have the same body type. I enjoy your blog and try-ons and I like that you post what size you wear, since it is spot on to me! Thank you!
I live in Florida with my husband and two small boy children. We’ve been here our whole adult lives and will never leave because my blood will never thicken again and I’m cold if it dips below 70 degrees. Pandemic hasn’t been too bad because it is almost easier not to go out in public with small children. But I’m not so sure what we will do with ourselves when the weather turns “cold” and we can’t go in the pool.
Hi!! I live in Charlottesville, VA! I actually grew up on Long Island and although it was such a charmed childhood, I love my life in VA! I love following your girlies (especially since we have so many great names in common lol)
I would LOVE the dress !
Currently living right outside of Charlotte, NC and loving it. We love the weather and how close we are to beautiful SC beaches. Originally grew up in MA so the short winters make me happy! Would love to enter for a Margot dress too!
I live in Bethlehem, PA which I moved to after undergrad for grad school and stayed after I graduated! My husband and I love the location on the east coast — hour to Philly, 1.5 to NYC, 3 to DC.
And I would love to win the Marlowe dress. I’m a teacher, and I’m teaching in person 5 days a week, so no sweats for me! ;)
Fun outfits! I live near Asheville, North Carolina. I’m planning to stick up on some comfy tops and hopefully leggings for the Virtual classes my girls are taking this semester!
Coming atcha from an itty bitty town called Newton in North Carolina! We’re here because it’s ten minutes from my parents and girlfriend needs all the help I can get with these two kiddos! #momlife
I’m 8 weeks postpartum and hoping to snag some PP friendly styles! The Winona in Heebee Zeebees (that green! Swoon! ) is top of the list! High rise leggings and popovers because in the face of COVID we’re all living that dress-as-comfy-as-possible life.
I’m a student at university so I currently live in Blacksburg, Va. Without the student population, it’s a pretty small town. It’s nestled in one of the many valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains and it’s just about the most beautiful place ever. Falls here are breathtaking! You can see the leaves change up close and also on the mountains. Our school colors are orange and maroon, so there’s a running joke that goes, “God is a Hokie. Why else do the leaves turn orange and maroon in the fall?!” Once I graduate, I’m on to a big city for job prospects but who knows where I’ll land!
I would also love to be entered for the dress. :)
I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I moved here when I married my husband, and we enjoy it but are 100% over apartment life (especially since we’ve gotten a puppy–#quaranantinepup)
Hi kelly . I live in Pensacola, Florida. I’m pretty much from here and my husband and I moved back after I finished physician assistant school 2 years ago. Life has been a little chaotic with covid but we’re making it work.! We also have a dachshund, her name is Winnie and she is so fun.
Thanks for the giveaway! I’d love to win that dress . We are in Columbia, SC as a result of grad school and it’s definitely home now with our 3 kiddos. We’re from SC and GA originally so family’s close which is great. Could see myself in the mountains of NC someday it’s awfully hot here !
Cute pictures! I currently live in ATL – My husband grew up here but I am from Florida. We have a good FL/GA rivalry :)
SoCal girl here! Loving the weather right now…. warm days, cool nights… perfect for an Essie tank at brunch and popover for dinner!
I live in Cincy but definitely will move to beach someday. I love the Margot dress and want to be entered in that drawing too.
I am OBSESSED with these dresses!! I love every single one. Fun fact about me is I have the same name as you!
Hi! I live in Bradenton, FL! My boyfriend and I moved here in July after he was laid off due to cutbacks at his work, & I was discharged from the hospital due to just getting diagnosed with type one diabetes. It’s been a lovely place close to an secluded beach and some great outdoor restaurants!
Thank you for sharing all of your tips and tricks for the Lilly Sale! I’d also love to be entered to be a part of your dress giveaway!
Best,
Hannah
I live in great falls va; recently had my first little girl (after 2 boys ) and am so excited to find matching stuff at the APS sale. Also would love the Margot dress .
Love seeing you and your girls matching xo
I’ve lived in California my entire life. I love everything about it and would love to continue to live here the rest of my life. There have been huge, insane wildfires in recent years that will continue to occur annually as a result of climate change. The pandemic combined with the fires have pretty much kept me indoors a huge portion of this year. I am seriously looking forward to when I can go to the beach or camping and just be outdoors.
Hi! Born and raised in Chicago!! Love your blog
Hi!! Born and raised in Chicago!!!
Thanks for the try ons and pricing! I wasn’t sold on Sun Seekers until I saw your post!
I live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I came here for grad school 9 years ago and a husband, 2 dogs, and a house later I’m still here! Aside from not seeing much Lilly, I love all the big city amenities we have paired with nature trails and the college town vibe!
I would also love to win the Margot!
I currently live in the Chicago burbs – Naperville, IL – with 2 kiddos in school we love that naperville has a great downtown, easy train system for commuting (although I thanfully work from home and during non covid only went downtown 1x a wk a most), and the school system is outstanding. My husband and I are proud parents of twins who are 10 and in 5th grade. I am from Michigan and it was a great place to grow up – thankful it’s not too far as my family is located there. We plan to stay in Naperville at least until the girls are through HS, then unsure where we will be. Unless we have to relo for my husband’s work, I expect we will stay. I would really only see us moving out east otherwise (my husband is from Boston). We do miss the city and talk about getting a condo to enjoy as well with our Naperville home once the girls are older. We are thankfully doing well during COVID – we are all healthy, safe and have had been enjoying the extra family time as my husband normally travels 100% for work as a consulting partner. I love how my kids motivate me even more each day to have a positive outlook despite all that is going on. We know we will really appreciate so many little things we took for granted!
I live in St. Louis, Missouri. I came here from Chicago for a job 8 years ago, met my husband and now have two young kids. I thought we’d be in St. Louis forever but who knows with COVID promoting the remote work place. I’d love to be on a coast.
When I visit Chicago, I always hope I’ll run into one of your photo shoots on the sidewalk!
I love and want the Margot dress! :-)
Ahhhh Kelly you’re the best! I’m a Chicago mom, love love love it here. I have a 4 yr old son who is obsessed with all things fall/Halloween, and a 1 year old daughter who is wild and hilarious. I’m currently binge watching the show “Alone” on Netflix and IT IS SO GOOD. Also I’m laying on a sofa that I bought based on your recommendation soooo yeah thanks for that!
I live in Boston! From Peru to NH, RI, MA, CA and now Boston :).
We just moved out to Colorado from Michigan in June! Loving it so far and am about to take my brokerage exam and start working again! In the mean time lots of hiking with the dogs and I even summited my first 14er. We’re big outdoorsy folks so I don’t see us moving anywhere in the next few years except for maybe the next step up to the Pacific Northwest. We’re north of Denver so it’s not as bad in terms of the pandemic but we shall see! I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and I miss the city and lake a lot and shopping at Oakbrook but I’m looking forward to seeing all my new home state has to offer.
Also forgot to mention that I’d love to have the chance to win the Margot dress :)
Hello! I currently live in Des Moines, Iowa! I was born & raised here and haven’t ventured too far…but I love to travel! It is a friendly, unique city with lots to offer. I love the farmers market & the fun arts festivals we have here each year. With covid, a lot changed this year but still trying to stay positive! Not sure how long we will stay-my husband was born & raised in the Chicago area :) We go back to Chicago about every 6-8 weeks to see his family and it’s a 5hr drive from Iowa. I’d love to live someplace with more mild winters haha. But having all 4 seasons is fun & makes for lots of fashion choices! Fun fact: I am a nurse-midwife and I love my job of helping empower women to bring new life into this world!
Hi! My name is Julie and I currently live in New Haven, CT. I moved here with my fiancé and we are both doctors at Yale. We love being so close to the beach while living in the city. I would love to wear the Lilly dress to the beach! ☀️
I’d love to win the Lilly shopping spree. I miss Florida, having moved back in 2016 to Michigan where I grew up, I lived on the west and east coasts of Florida over a 12 year period. My favorite Lilly store is in St. Armand’s Circle. Just wearing my Lilly outfits takes me back to FL and my many memories. Michigan is great too, especially in the summer. We are doing better than a lot of states with the pandemic. Hope to get back to visit So. FL this winter!
Hello from Boston! I came here for work as an oncology nurse and love it! But can’t wait to buy a house in the burbs in 2021 :) I would love to win the giftcard giveaway and the dress!
Hello! My name is Sam and I live in nj! I’ve grown up here and lived here my entire life! I absolutely love it but who knows where life will take me! I’ve talked to my fiancé about moving to Florida but I don’t know if we are ready just yet!
Hi, I live in Ridgefield, CT!! I love it here because it is a very family oriented town and is the quintessential New England town. My daughter and I LOVE Lily and I have been dressing her in Lilly since she was a toddler. She is now 21 and still loves Lilly. I trained her well!!!!
Hi Kelly! I live right here in Lincoln Park! My boyfriend and I are moving to a new apartment in two weeks a little west of where we are now but still in Lincoln Park! I am a born and raised Chicago area gal, but since quarantine this is my first time living in the city and I absolutely love it! I love the people and pace of Lincoln Park and being outside constantly. The homes are gorgeous and make my long runs more fun! I’ve lived in Evanston for the past five years which is lovely too and I’ll probably end up somewhere between here and Evanston—but who knows what life will throw! I’m very close with my family who is all in the area and I couldn’t imagine not having them close by.
We just moved from Chicago (lakeview area) up to the north shore burbs last week! I’m also due with baby #3 next week, we like to do everything at once like you guys I would love to get cute dresses for my daughters and some mommy and me things if I won!
I live in a suburb about 20 minutes outside of Milwaukee (hey neighbor!). It’s a great town, with great schools. I miss the city sometimes, but I wouldn’t give up our yard for the world. It’s so great our boys have room to run and play around!
Living in Chicago – really like Maine and Massachusetts so might become an East Coaster someday?? That Margot dress is super cute; would love to win it even though I can only wear it around my house for the time being!!
Yay!! I love APS!! I live in Elm Grove, WI (Go Packers!!) and proudly wear my Lily here.
Currently live in California!
I can’t pick just one. I would purchase all the items I have, but in different sizes. I recently had my implants removed due to Bii. I love Dresses, sundress’s and leggings so I can play on the floor with my grandchildren. Your pullover and zip up jacket are perfect for me living in Florida.
I live in MD! I just moved back from law school and my favorite part is that my fiancé and I no longer have to do long distance! Here’s to having some Lilly for wedding planning!
Oh my! I’d love to win that Margot! SO DANG CUTE!
I’m currently in Malibu— staying with family during the pandemic/working from home. (But still paying rent for my tiny west Los Angeles apartment ♀️). Better than being lonely, I guess? krkernes (at) yahoo (dot) com
I actually relocated during the pandemic, so I’m now in Des Plaines, IL. I used to be in Detroit, MI. Things are actually better here than they were when I left Michigan. Things are beginning to open up slowly and everyone is being really compliant with the masks!
Hi! I stumbled onto your blog and am following you now! Love your style and cute daughters! My favorite print is reel nauti and I would love to win the giveaway! I would buy matching dresses for my 6 granddaughters and maybe an Elsa top to match them! Wouldn’t that be an awesome photo! I teach tennis and I wear Lilly everyday on and off court. I’d love so much to outfit my sweet grands ! And my favorite dress happens to be last year’s swing dress so I’d really enjoy your size small! Thank you !
My name is Hannah and I live in Manchester, NH. My sister and I moved here last week and we’re about 2o minutes from where we grew up. My favorite print at the moment is Treasure Trove. A fun fact is that I can’t wear mismatching socks. Like can’t even wear the same sock in different colors. Knowing that they don’t match I just feel like nothing will go right and my day starts off on the wrong foot (literally)
I live in Louisville, Ky, which is where I grew up- but in between I’ve lived in Washington DC, Chicago, and Vegas!
Thanks for sharing your life with us – everything from outfit try ons to your passion for education to your sweet family!
I live in upstate South Carolina. I grew up here, went away for college and then moved out of state for a few years for my first job. I’m happy to be back home now and closer to family, but who knows where life will take us! I studied international business in college and work for a global company, so an expat assignment might be an option during my career. I love to travel, so I would definitely take advantage of a lot of weekend trips, if I ever move abroad!
Hello! I would love, love, love to win this giveaway (including the Margot dress!)! I live in Yardley, PA (and my in-laws are in Avalon, so just a stone’s throw from you on weekends). We’ve reaaaally focused on the positives of being quarantined during this pandemic – family time! My husband otherwise wouldn’t be home during our kids (2 1/2 and 10 mo) waking hours M-F and we have free weekends to go on family adventures (albeit in our backyard or to the beach). A great deal of sadness has come our way these last few months, and although it left us heavy-hearted I keep saying, “Find the joy!” Lilly Pulitzer certainly fits that mold – you can’t help but smile at the bright colors and fun prints!
Crossing all my fingers for this giveaway!
We’re in NC!! Looking for all the mom and me matches and hoping to do more traveling next summer.
I’d love to win the extra Margot dress for my teenager! She just got into Lilly this past summer and would love it!
I would LoVE to win the $500 to buy a popover, Brewster dress and a mini for my daughter.
We live in Medfield MA and just bought our home this last summer. We moved amidst the craziness of the pandemic and with young kids! We would love to be here forever as we love our neighborhood and the town is absolutely magnificent. 2 random facts: the actress from orange is the new black Udo Aduba is from medfield, and the show shutter island was also shot in this town:) I grew up and lived in 3 different countries.
Currently living in Louisville, KY for my husband’s work; always dreaming of moving an hour back home to Lexington or to my happy place, Nashville!
Fun fact: we celebrated the Kentucky Derby last weekend! It was insane to watch our city re-imagine Derby several months late and with little fanfare. 2020 sure is nuts!
Hi!! I actually live in Lincoln Park! I ended up here because I was working downtown and commuting from my parents in the suburbs and it was too hard. I am a nurse working 12 hour shifts, so the commute was rough. Moved in with my 2 good friends to Lincoln park about 2 years ago. Now I live in a 1 bedroom! I love the Lilly sale every year!
Washington DC (but a Chicago burbs native)! my now husband/then boyfriend convinced me to move here after college as he was already living down here; it only took one visit to sell me
I currently live in Maine! Temporary situation due to COVID, but the summer has been gorgeous! Great hiking and lobster!
I live in northwest ohio in a small town near the Michigan and Indiana border. I grew up here and moved back after attending college at The Ohio State University. I work at the school in my town as a speech language pathologist.
Gorgeous photos as always, Kelly! So excited for day 2 of your giveaway and for the Lilly sale to begin! (Currently waiting in line…) We live on the south coast of MA, and my daughter and I live in Lilly during the summers – perfect for jaunts to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and around our cute seaside town. The beach and days on the boat have kept us sane during the pandemic – thank heavens for open air and salt water. :)
PS I’d LOVE to win the dress as well! XO
Hi Kelly I’d love to enter your second chance giveaway! The dress is gorgeous and would fit in perfectly in my small little Florida town known as Celebration (the town that Disney built ) thanks for the Lilly sale content!!
I live in Summit NJ – great community and schools and easy commute to NYC which is why we moved here 18 years ago. I grew up in Ridgewood NJ about 40 minutes away. Ridgewood and Summit are very similar even so much so that they have a few of the same restaurants and stores in downtown. Also I’d like to win the Margot dress size small!
I live in Chicago. I grew up in the north suburbs, moved to San Francisco for a few years. Then lived in the city of Chicago, right by you (LOVED IT) now back to the suburbs. Chicago area has always had my heart. But if I could live anywhere it would be Celebration, Florida. Walt Disney created the neighborhood before he died. It’s next to Disney World and the perfect little, happy community!
Yes, I’d love to win the dress! Thanks for offering it :)
Hi! I’m a Chicago girl too- I live downtown with my labradoodle pup, Teddy. I love it here but with the harsh winters, would love to eventually move somewhere sunnier like Texas!
I live in Los Angeles (literally the only one here that wears Lilly) but grew up in New Jersey, went to college in D.C., started my career in Boston and like to refer to Florida (where my parents live now) as my home! It is a wonderful place to be (when there isn’t a pandemic/fires/no good air) but I do look forward to moving back to the east coast one day!
Hi! I am from St. Paul, MN. born and raised! I am a teacher and it’s always my second week of school when the Lilly APS is -I always go into school early to get onto the waiting list. Today, on my couch early for it. :)
I live in Oswego, IL with my husband And 3 kiddos. We have a son who is 7 and twin gals that are 5 and love Lily dresses!
I live in a tiny house just outside Boston with my cat and boyfriend. I think the house used to be a carriage house that was converted at some point to a condo, but also heard my neighbor say it was a fruit stand. ♀️ There is old newspaper glued to the calls in parts of the basement and the floors are real wood planks that are imperfectly perfect. Its a lovely area and I like wandering the neighborhood admiring the old houses around, spotted some from the early 1800’s!
Cleveland!
I’ve decided I should buy stock in bravo, it’s one of the only things getting me through this pandemic.
Hiiiiii!!!! I am Kelly from Charleston! Charleston has forever been my favorite city – I have begged Drew (my husband) to move here since before I even visited it ten years ago. It’s always inexplicably felt like “home” to us from the moment we stepped foot here — Lilly Pulitzer everywhere you look, Spanish moss covered live oaks, incredible history, stunning architecture, amazing wildlife, super quick access to the beach AND the city! A year ago, he told me he thought maybe we could move here in 2020 before our oldest daughter started kindergarten. So we planned accordingly to move this summer… and then COVID hit. Somehow we managed to list and sell our house and buy one sight unseen amidst the craziest months of March and April, and moved here in May! As huge of a hurdle as it was, we have LOVED it so much!!!!!! No regrets! I can’t imagine us ever moving back to Tennessee (even though we love our hometown of Nashville), so it’s tropical life FOR LIFE.
I would love to be eligible to win the Margot Dress!
Love your blog! I am looking for the lux leggings and a popover! The sale items are amazing this year!
Hey hey Larkin fam! I was born and raised in New Jersey and spent summers in Ocean City as well … but now I’m having a whole new beach adventure living in Honolulu! The weather is obviously great and the island has really taken our family in. But where can I get a stack of corn pancakes – am I right? I had my first baby last fall and I feel like we’ve done her great justice giving her a lifelong fun fact having been born here in Hawaii. I am always SO BAD at those ice breaker games when you have to share something interesting about yourself. No special talents or extraordinary facts here … until my high school prom date was a contestant on the Bachelorette and I started using that … but that actually has nothing to do with me and I don’t talk to him. Anyways, I hope you’re enjoying your extended summer and emptier beaches. Mahalo for being so generous to your followers! I’d love to get some Mommy and Me matching outfits with the $500! Be well!
I’m originally from New Jersey but live in North Carolina now. I love it here, for the most part. Summer is a little long for me but fall and winter are divine. Random fact about me: I have a first cousin who is a world famous entertainer.
I live in Virginia Beach. Been here for 20 years and as you can imagine Lilly stuff is very useful here! I would love to win the Margot dress or the $500. Love your sizing reviews. They are so helpful!
Absolutely love your style. I live in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago – yours and Jess’ content gets me through quarantine!
I am a NYC born and bred. I lived in New Orleans for 3 years after college and absolutely loved it! I was particularly touched by your coverage of COVID-19 and your brother, Dr. Patrick (my brother is named Patrick too!). Hoping he, his family and all of New Orleans stays safe during Hurricane Sally.
I moved back to NYC in 2016 to be closer to family as my older sister planned her wedding. (She’s due with her first-a girl in December! Hoping to find some great baby Lilly during APS) While I missed New Orleans, I wouldn’t have met my now husband if I hadn’t moved back to NYC! We are celebrating one year of marriage on Oct. 4th. Craziest year ever living in the epicenter of the pandemic and cancelling our honeymoon in Italy. We just moved to Long Beach, NY. A very cute, surfer, beach town an hour outside of the city. He is also a Lilly lover and I would love to add something new to my wardrobe for our anniversary celebration!
Thank you for sharing your life with us! I love your family!
I grew up in Northfield, right by Ocean City :) My first job was as a beach tagger in OC! I hope you’re having a wonderful time there with your family. We currently live in Cohasset, MA- just moved in 2 months ago. We were living in Boston, but our city apartment was feeling pretty small with a 7month old starting to crawl! Very happy for the extra space and easy access to the outdoors.
Hi Kelly! I live in Lake Mohawk (Sparta) NJ, in my first home with my boyfriend of 6 years. We just moved this summer, and grew up in another lake town about 40 mins away. The area is so quaint with a cute downtown area, and we are hoping to stay here for quite a while!
I also consider Wildwood Crest my second home… we go there every September with my family and I’m convinced the beach is 10x better in September!!!
P.S. I’d love to win the dress
I grew up in Lexington Kentucky but it’s called Chicago home for the last four years now. Chicago is always been my dream city to live in so I was happy to make that happen in my late 20s. Covid has been tough here as I was living in a studio, but now I live in a large apartment with outdoor space and it’s a complete game changer. I did go back to Kentucky for about six weeks in April but I’ve been happy in the city ever cents. I believe Chicago will be my forever home which makes my heart smile!I grew up in Lexington Kentucky but it’s called Chicago home for the last four years now. I live in Alexandria, VA just south of D.C! I have lived here my whole life minus the 4 years I went away to school. One fun fact is that our city’s lone public high school is the school depicted in the Disney move “Remember the Titans!” The dress would be perfect because our summer lasts until October.
I love all of your reviews of these dresses and especially the matching dresses with the girls! Would love the Margot dress!
Love that the girls matched you in some of these! So cute!!
I’d love to win the dress! I live in California, in the SF Bay Area. I was born here, and I absolutely love living here. I think I’d also love to live in a city at some point, but I also would love to live here forever, haha. I love living here because I love the Bay itself, the delicious food that is everywhere, and just being so close to so many ways to experience the Bay and the Pacific Ocean, as well. With the pandemic, things are okay. Some stores are starting to open, and there is a lot of take-out and outdoor dining available. Right now, the crazy fires (and the smoke from them) are everywhere, which is so sad.
Thank you for never failing to brighten my day with photos of your adorable children, by the way.
Hi! I grew up in Elsie, Michigan (the Dairy Capital – having the largest registered Holstein herd in the world). Knowing there were not a lot of jobs to be had in a town with <1,000 people, I always wanted to move to a large city (preferably DC or Chicago). I moved to Detroit after college for work and grad school. Before completing grad school I met my husband, who has family in metro-Detroit, so we still live in the area now (although I did get my dream of living in a big city with adequate transportation when I moved to Shanghai for 6 months last year).
Also, would love to be considered for the Margot dress!
Love the Larkin family!
My name is Patrice Sweeney and I live in North Wildwood, NJ. During quarantine being at the beach and working from the beach is literally amazing. One summer we will not forget! If I could live anywhere else, it would probably be Nantucket or Newport..
Loving the Oyster Bay pattern, trying to get something for the sale in that! Safe travels back to Chicago.
oh my goodness, would love to win the Margot. That is my favorite dress style!!! I live in Florida…pandemic has been icky. ha, ha! good to live in a state where you can be outside in the sun often though!
I live in Arlington, VA just outside D.C. I ended up here after living in D.C. for 15 years, starting from college through my residency training. I’m originally from Minnesota an would love to move back someday!
Giveaway entry! I currently live in VA but grew up in DELCO and vacation in OCNJ. Fun fact: I was there with my two kids last week and if I wasn’t a pandemic maybe would have run into you! Pandemic life in a city/small apartment isn’t great, so we’re moving back to PA by the end of the year and going to get to vacation in ocean city more often ! Also fun fact: I scrolled “to the bottom of this blog” ….. through A LOT of comments before I realized the place for me to comment was way back up ♀️
So excited for the APS! I’m an avid Lilly lover. I live in Newport, RI and love being near the water year round! I would also be interested in winning the dress!
I live near Bradenton, FL, originally from Minnesota. We ended up here after DH retired from 30 years in the Navy (we had a tour in Tampa — about 50 miles away). This area is known for Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, and many other beautiful beaches. We like it here, but we enjoyed our many years in Virginia too. Would love the Margot dress — so cute and my size!

Hi! I live in Avalon,nj. Fall is my favorite time of year here. Crowds die down and water still warm. Covid is getting better here but i still worry as a mom! I would love the dress..looks perfect for a warm fall day. I am also shopping sale for some sweaters and new bathing suits.
Hi! I currently live in Colorado. Today is the fist day of school here, so shopping for Lilly in a quiet house for the first time since March.
Would love to win the Margot dress :)
Hi Kelly! I’d LOVE to win the Margo dress for my sister Christa in Canada! She is an XS and loves dresses! She would be so thrilled…..it’s gorgeous! OK, so I live in Wicker Park….I live right on the street that divides Wicker Park & Bucktown so I often say I’m from both. I absolutely love it and I’ve lived here 8+ years. When I moved to Chicago, I initially lived in Lincoln Park and loved that too. As for living somewhere else, I was just telling a friend the other day that I really want to spend more time in Austin, TX. I love all the hiking trails there, rivers and overall vibe. I’d consider living there. Also, my family lives in Canada (note that they are not my biological family -I talk about them often in the comments of your blog) and I’d love to live there with them. But Chicago is home! As for something funny, I’m so not funny lol. I’d scare you & Mitch I’d I tried to be funny…wow, none of my jokes ever land. I suppose that’s funny lol. Hmm, a fun fact is I started the keto diet yesterday. And my goal from now until December is to lose 25 pounds. Possible? I’m goin’ for it. Hi to Mitch and the girls….still can’t believe you chopped your own hair off…hahaha….that was a crazy move…..and it looks so great!
Love these pics! I moved across the country for school but moved back to my home state to marry my high school sweetheart! Would love to be entered to win the dress, that’s just my size!!
I am in Spokane, Washington. I generally love it here, move from Seattle for law school 13 years ago. We are currently under a giant cloud of smoke making it impossible to go outside. Usually, though, the outdoors are my favorite part. We have so many hiking trails an bike trails and several lakes. It’s beautiful!
I live in southern Georgia right near the Florida/Georgia line. I was born in Kentucky but raised in Ohio. Wanted a promotion at work so I ended up moving to Omaha, NE. But felt like I was so far away from everyone I knew so I moved to Florida sight unseen as my friend lived there. Best decision ever! I lived by the beach for a while but decided the country life was for me so I just bought a 5 acre property in Georgia in October and have been loving it especially during the pandemic as it is private and I can just be by myself and enjoy nature. Things are pretty much open down here – everyone is basically wearing a mask most places. At my job, we have been working from home since mid-March and will probably continue to do so through the rest of the year. Fine with me! Thank you for the giveaway! Would love a chance for the dress as well – it will be nice to wear when I start going back to the office.
I love how you dress your girls alike. I used to do that from the day my 2nd child was born 8 years ago! The past 2 years I have toned it down to “similar” or coordinating color or print since my eldest now 11 years old is not so happy about the idea of matching outfits. Yes, it breaks my heart but I need to accept the fact … I am a classic white, navy, beige, black solid color kind of girl when I do wer prints, it’s only Lilly Pulitzer! I love how her prints are vibrant and calm. Not loud, just right. Love to mix her printed tops with solid bottoms, The dresses are amazing so comfortable day to night just throw in a casual sweater. We are are multi racial family, I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines but of Chinese heritage. My grandfather opened a egg noodle company 150 years ago in Manila. My husband was born and raised in Indiana. We met in the mountains of Kentucky, fell in love, had our firstborn and decided to move back closer to family in his hometown in New Castle, IN. It’s a very peaceful countryside. We have access to everything we need and more. I’m an educator he’s and engineer. 1 hour drive from Indianapolis with a lot in between. I have been following your blog for 3 years and I love it! Keep it coming, More power to you and your family!
Hi Kelly! I moved here in Florida from Connecticut in 2012. While the hot and humid days aren’t my favorite, it’s basically summer year round, so I have no reason to put away my Lilly Pulitzer wardrobe even in the cooler months. I enjoy going to the beach, walking my standard poodle, and planting tropical fruit trees. I’m happy when I get to harvest coconuts, mangoes, and pineapples from my backyard. I grew up in the Philippines, so this is close to being “home” to me. I’m a nursing student at the moment, and will hopefully graduate in May 2021. The pandemic has made it rough especially when in-person classes and clinical were switched virtually. This fall semester we are able to do our clinical in facilities that allow it, so the risk of exposure scares me, but I’ll just keep going. As a future healthcare worker, my help is needed more than ever during these challenging times.
Thank you for this opportunity to win a shopping spree at Lilly Pulitzer. That Margot dress is too cute to pass up, I love that print and color!
Just found your blog looking for info on the sale! Great pics and cute kids!
I grew up on Long Island as a beach girl. Lived 30 plus years in upstate NY in the snow. Recently retired to Beaufort SC and I am never taking off my flipflops again. Sunshine and palm trees
I’m in Florida and I have no plans to ever leave! I love the sunshine and the beach. So far we have been lucky and stayed healthy during the pandemic. Crossing my fingers I can still have my wedding in November!
Just before the pandemic we moved from our Washington, DC home of 11 years to the Florida Space Coast, so our lives have done a 180 in more ways than one. There are things (and friends) I miss, but the sunshine, the manatees & dolphins, and living in year-round Lilly have made it worthwhile.
I’m from Virginia and currently live in Washinton, D.C.! I think I’d like to move somewhere else on the East Coast to plant roots.
I would love to win the Margot dress! We live in St. Petersburg, Florida, do we are lucky enough to wear Lilly all year! Of course, that means we need LOTS of Lilly! My husband and I agree up in West Palm Beach, Florida. We started dating in middle school, got married after college, and have now been married 41 years! My sisters, daughters, and granddaughters are all Lilly lovers!!! And, we are obsessed with all things Lilly. Lol.
Florida native with no plans to move. I’ve been wearing Lilly since I was a teen and have memories of my aunt wearing Lilly shifts in the 60’s while she worked in a dress shop on Palm Beach. Love the little models and beach photos. I would love the Margot dress as I am replacing my Lilly with smaller sizes!
I live in Cocoa beach,FL. I moved here 5 years ago. I am originally from Japan and I am a Japanese. I met my husband in Japan. My two boys are born in Japan. My husband decided to move back to the States to raise kids and etc…lol. I love living here. Especially I love weather here other than hurricanes. I love Lilly Pulitzer! I wouldn’t know if I still lived in Japan. I enjoy your blog a lot! Thank you !
My name is Jessica. I currently live in New Port Richey, FL.. originally from West Palm Beach. Cool place,, but wouldnt mind a change.. Though I love FL and plan on staying in the sunshine state. Work at the hospital, so the pandemic has been great. No sarcasm, maybe a little.
Born and raised on long island because I dont want to be far from the beach. Due to covid no beach this year but we got a lot of use p6ut of our pool. Also, got to meet almost all of our neighbors after 5 years since we’ve been home more!
Live in Lakeview and want to be friends with you and Jess Keys! I know it sounds stalkerish, not that sorry.
I live in Jacksonville NC! I grew up overseas in Japan because my dad was in the Navy. We had bounced back and forth from here to Japan in the late 90s, and when it was time for new orders they wanted to come back! I love it so much here. We live on the coast so a lot of beaches so close to us!
The military life is so unique in many ways, and that’s why I love it here. My dad retired, and my husband joined as well and got orders here too! We definitely plan on staying since I’ve already been here 15 years and my husband has been here for about 23! Vacation hotspot with all the beaches!
I’m currently in Columbia, SC. My husband and I have been here since last December. We moved from Middle TN (where we’d always lived, except during college) for my husband’s job. We both grew up in small towns about an hour from Nashville. We don’t hate it here in SC, but we don’t particularly like how hot it is. Most likely, but depending on a few factors, we’ll only be here for another 2-3 years. Life never really completely shut down here during the pandemic, and things have mostly been back to normal since May/June (other than wearing masks). We both really want to settle down in Knoxville, TN where we went to college.
Hi there! Lexi here from Raleigh, North Carolina. I’m a music teacher and moving to teaching online has definitely been an adjustment, but I’m thankful for the extra time it has allowed me to spend with my family!
Greetings from Wheeling, WV! I am originally a Pittsburgh girl and I went to college an hour away in Wheeling. I never would have thought that I’d still be in the small city 15 years later. It turns out that I like being a big fish in a small pond. Plus I fell in love with a “townie”! We are on our way to Stone Harbor this week with our three year old twins and 2 month old baby. I have barely been out of the house over the past 6 months, so I can’t wait to visit the jersey shore!
I live in Nashville! I love it love it love it but I’m frustrated with how many tourists are coming to Broadway and packing the bars even now. Apart from that, I love the city’s energy and music scene and all the green space to run outdoors!
I’m a Maryland girl, and just moved to Annapolis after I graduated college in May. Absolutely loving my state’s capital city :)
I live in the DC area now, and I grew up here! I love it so much! Great mix of historical places, water, hiking, etc.
Thank you for doing this giveaway. I live in Dallas and we just got back from our babymoon to Galveston-where I wore Lilly all week and now I just want to live in Lilly! Things feel somewhat normal here but we are still working remotely and wear masks/social distance when we go out in public. I also want to win the Margot dress.
I live in Clover SC, the tiny town with LOVE in the muddle! We moved here in 1995 and have never regretted! Followed my inlaws here then my parents followed us so it has been wonderf raising our 19-year-old daughter here. (OS—I want the dress too!!! )
I’m Stephanie and live in Colorado Springs. We’ve been here 3 years (thanks Army!) and LOVE the mountains, the friends we’ve made and the city. Sadly we’ll likely move in the next year, so we’re hoping to move close to North Carolina so we can be close to our parents and siblings since we’re hoping to start a family soon!
Hello! I live in Fort Worth, TX. We moved here for my husband’s job. I have a five year old girl. I love all your pictures. You have a beautiful family and house. I really love the pictures when you have matching outfits!
LOVE all the jersey shore pictures recently! I moved to Hoboken NJ last week (my husband is from Jersey) and I’m jealous of your time at the shore! We’ve been busy settling into our new apt (and my new remote job!) and I would LOVE to win the Margot dress to transport me back to summer haha.
I live in Chicago in the West Loop with my husband and daughter that is almost 2 and we have baby #2 on the way! I love following you and your precious family! Plus, I think you and Mitch are hilarious. I’d love to win either the dress or giveaway for some cute family photos! I love all your beach pictures- cutest fam! :)
Because of the pandemic, and several cancelled MCAT dates, I have been living all over, ahha. I technically live in NJ because I just got my master’s at Rutgers, but I am originally from Minnesota, and still say things like oh jeez and uffdah, ahaha. I really feel in touch with both MN and the East coast :) And, I would love to be entered to also win your extra Margot dress!!
Hi Kelly! We currently live just north of Charlotte, NC. We love NC and it has always been my home, but my husband is from England. That means our son is a dual citizen! He already had 2 passports by the time he was 2 months old and he took his first trip to England at 4.5 months! We are due with a little girl soon, so she will also be a dual citizen! Right now, it is hard to imagine living anywhere else, we like this area and my husband is very invested in his job/company. I do suppose that if we were to live anywhere else, it probably would be England! If it wasn’t for family/jobs/etc, our dream destination to live would probably be Perth, Australia! Perth has it all! Thank you for this giveaway, I hope it provides some entertainment!

I grew up in Connecticut but have lived in Boston for 10 years and can’t imagine living in any other city, even though I always assumed I’d end up in New York. The city has done a great job handling the pandemic and I’ve been trying to make the most of all the outdoor dining and entertainment options before it gets too chilly here. Hoping for a warm September!
I live in Arlington, VA just outside D.C. I moved here after college for a job in DC and fell in love with the area (minus the traffic) and it’s convenience to everything.
I live in D.C., I moved up here from Florida after college for a job. It’s a big change but I love the city. I was surprised how popular lilly is up here!
Much like that of the relationship between Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly in You’ve Got Mail I pretend that we’re the oldest and dearest friends, as opposed to what we actually are, people who don’t know each other’s names and “met” online. I like to think we met when we bumped into each other in Oz Park and instantly connected on our shared fashion senses and championing of public education. Now, this is the narrative I’ve created for myself, but what really happened was on one of my many commutes between the ‘burbs and Chicago where I am a law student (at Chicago’s first public law school where I rock a 2020 Elle Woods style) and found you on Instagram and instantly felt a kinship with your fashion, family, and lifestyle. I have created a habit to save your blog posts as rewards for finishing a reading or watching your Instagram stories for after I’ve written a portion of a memo. When the pandemic hit, I found solace in having an extended community in you and your followers and felt immensely proud in all the ways you used your platform for good. I have to say the Larkin family has become my extended family in 2020. I, being not able to see my family, have found the joy in your family navigating 2020. I also definitely shared many traits that Emma and Lucy are displaying when I was a kid *cough* College Emma & Lucy *cough.* Thank you for sharing your family with all of us and for being so genuine in all that you do.
I live in Northern NJ but am originally from central NJ (which exists! Lol). My husband and I moved here basically because we inherited the house. We live right next door to his parents so it’s basically an Everybody Loves Raymond situation. We’re expecting our first in November and it’s a girl so I of course shopped the sale for mommy and me looks to wear next summer! I even found some matching shorts for the hubby (he secretly loves Lilly) so we can take some family photos on vacation next summer!
natalie cover up…reversible top…swimmy suit for my daughter
Hello from the DC area! I live in the suburbs of DC. Thankfully we’re not currently a COVID epicenter here. One of the silver linings of COVID is how my suburban community has come together to support complete strangers. There’s a local effort to donate and fundraise in order to buy meals for the food insecure, first responders, and frontline / essential workers. We buy the meals directly from local restaurants to boost the local economy and then deliver to those in need. This is a grassroots effort all coordinated for free by neighbors. It’s truly beautiful how our suburb has united to serve our community and the larger DC area.
I have lived in NC my entire life. I love traveling to new places but I always love coming back to NC.
Looking forward to what gets added to the APS on day 2! I’m from Youngstown, OH born & raised, went to college in Cleveland, OH, and now living in Pittsburgh, PA. However, I know my true home lies in the OBX (bc who doesn’t want to live at the beach & wear Lilly every day?!).
From a small town in the bootheel of Missouri originally, but currently living in St. Louis for optometry school! Clinics and medical based classes have been interesting remotely to say the least. Definitely not my favorite way to learn… but bright side was we didn’t really notice all the shutdowns/cancelling of social events from March-May because all we do is stay home and study anyway I love St. Louis and living here! When it’s not pandemic time, this is SUCH an amazing city for foodies, art, music venues, theater and sports! We’re passionate about it all! Plans after I complete school in the next two years is to move down to the Gulf Coast to practice where my boyfriend will be for his residency in Anesthesia!
Love all these photos of you and your adorable family ! I was born and raised in a county outside of Saint Louis, Missouri! I love where I’m from and live because me and my husband’s immediate families both still live here. Saint Louis is very family-oriented. I also LOVE Chicago and always said if I’d move anything else it’d be there !!:)
I am in love with the Margot dress and would love to win it!:)
We live on the Connecticut shoreline and love it! I never want to leave! I’m originally from a small town in Western Massachusetts, Belchertown. Not named after someone who burps a lot, but after a man named John Belcher
Texas born and raised but I’ve been in the Northeast since college. I live just north of Boston now and I love having four seasons! I am a #boymom, with 4 boys all within 5 years, no twins, haha. I’d love to win the Margot dress, cause you can never have too much Lilly!!
I grew up in Connecticut, but moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago after graduating college. I work for a structural engineering company with its main office here and I was excited to try living somewhere else than New England. So far I’m loving it and, although I’m far from family, the warmer weather (and longer Lilly wearing season!!) is a definite plus! :)
I currently live in Annapolis, Maryland! I was born and raised here, and it’s been a fantastic place to grow up. I love being near the water and the cute historic downtown Annapolis area.
I live in Richmond, VA, born and raised in Boston, MA. My husband and I met at a wedding in NH in 2008 and did distance for 4 years….here we are with 2 little boys! We see ourselves back in MA at some point, we love Cape Cod and spend summers there with my Mom!
New items have dropped. A new run around hat style is out and I’m preparing the excuse to my husband now…
Log on to try and snag a hat. Get the hat. Go to checkout… $5 for shipping because I don’t meet the $25 threshold. Welp… I can’t waste that $5 on shipping, right?
That newly released popover (my very first one!) just hopped in my cart and the next thing I knew, a checkout verification email was showing up in my inbox. Whoops :)
Hailing from Pittsburgh, loving everything summery and beachy. We have the worst winters (second most precipitation in the country after Seattle) and I need color to brighten up the 6 months of grey!
