If you’ve been with me for a while, you know how much I love January. ;) I know. January in Chicago. What could be worse?! But because everyone is utterly exhausted 🤪, there are fewer events and plans and I actually have the time to tidy, purge, organize and clean well. It’s the best feeling. I just adore hitting the reset button!

The Wayfair Weekend Clearance event is taking place today (January 17th) through the 21st, during which you can take up to 70 percent off and get fast shipping! It’s the perfect time to buckle down and get to some easy yet insanely satisfying home projects that have been on the list for ages. ;) Not every worthwhile makeover needs to take months on end; a quick one can make a huge impact on everyday life, too. Mic drop.

Above are a few of my January favorites from Wayfair, and below are some quick-and-easy projects to give you some inspiration!

Workbench upgrade with peel-and-stick tile

I can’t get over how easy this was… and how professional-looking it came out! You literally cut the “tile” with scissors. It couldn’t be easier. The best part is that the tiles are wipeable—so when I’m out here crafting with the girls, cleanup is super easy.

In case you’re considering, YES: you can put these over existing tile, as long as they’re totally flat! (Textured tile would not be ideal.) Talk about a quick and wildly affordably kitchen backsplash upgrade. Fabulous for beginners—and renters, too!

Kitchen upgrade with custom organizers + spice jars

Take a look at this LTK post to see the super-fast transformation of our formerly disorganized kitchen drawers. At first I made my own labels with my Cricut machine, which you can find on Wayfair. But then I discovered this set, and I fell in love with the professional look. (#thisis40, right?) I’m also linking some other sandwich bag/tin foil/saran wrap/wax paper organizers that have since come out. They’re great!

Bathroom cabinet upgrade with labeled canisters

Oh, guys. I know. Brings joy. You can see the “before” in this LTK post, but yeah. It wasn’t pretty, and despite the fact that everything was visible, I often found myself overbuying because I couldn’t remember what I already had and what I needed. Now everything has a “home,” and if a canister if full, I know not to purchase additional supplies. (I follow Dana White’s Container Method in my home and it works like a charm!)

Anyway, let me know what you picked up from the Wayfair Weekend Clearance event, which, as a reminder, is taking place today (January 17th) through the 21st. What projects are you planning this year? Now’s the time to start planning, as you can take up to 70 percent off and get fast shipping!

xoxo
