This is my favorite outfit I wore while in Newport. I wore it the evening of day 2, and Mitch snapped these pics right before we left for the night. I have to say: I was pretty proud of my Newport outfits, as I’m very much drawn to leggings and oversized sweaters at the moment. 😂But I worked hard to find some dressier-yet-still-super-comfy stuff ahead of time, and I felt more confident–and more like myself!–because of it.

BOOM. This isn’t a maternity top, but it’s SO flattering that it even works for preggos! It’s seriously the only blouse I wear these days when I have to look nice. Yes, when I turn to the side, it’s very clear that I’m super pregnant. But the way it drapes an flows takes the attention away from my belly, which I so appreciate at this point in the game!

Old Navy Pixie Pants
I know everyone loves J.Crew’s Martie Slim Crop Pants, but I’m here to advocate for Old Navy’s Pixie Pants, which are just as wonderful but so much more affordable. (Lots of stretch so uber comfy, but don’t sag throughout the day.) The navy and black also feature “Never-Fade” technology, which means the pants won’t lose their color no matter how often you wash ’em! I’m obviously wearing the maternity version, but I fully intend on getting the non-maternity pants next year.
If you’re pregnant, I’d suggest sizing down. If you’re not, order your regular size or one down.
Cole Haan Navy Striped Vesta Pumps
Obsessed! Perfect for the spring since I can’t get away with exposed toes. Way too chilly! But yeah: I’m in love with the navy stripes and low heel on this pair, and I’m SO crazed for Cole Haan shoes in general right now, as they’re known for extreme comfort. They run completely TTS, and come in navy and leopard, too.
Tortoise Clutch
Not a comfort piece, haha, but it’s back in stock so I thought I’d highlight it! This is the clutch I always bring when I’m wearing blue. :) It actually has a hidden strap inside that you can take out when you get sick of holding it. (Huge!)
Gold Earrings
I wear these to most fancier events. You can get ’em with posts, but mine are clip-ons, which are wonderful for me since my earlobes are tiny and I worry when wearing dangly earrings. Also love these!
J.Crew Pearl Twisted Hammock Bracelet
You just can’t go wrong with pearls. I always pack this bracelet when I travel, and I’ve had it for years! It’s a true classic and it goes with absolutely everything. Here’s the necklace, which I wear a ton as well!
