We walked over to North Avenue Beach yesterday, and Emma asked to play hide-and-seek. We told her it would be tricky since we were essentially sitting in a field, but she insisted. And this was her first “hiding spot.”
Mitch and I couldn’t stop laughing. 😆
It was approximately 95 degrees and 95 percent humidity, haha… but it was such an awesome afternoon. There were zillions of dragonflies zooming around us, and the girls were each in their elements–Emma focused on catch, scooting and soccer… and Lucy focused on walking and adorably screeching in delight. And all the while I think we were both cognizant that we’d celebrate seven years of marriage the following day. :)
And to think: so many of you have been with us since the beginning. Thank you for following along.
