Quick post tonight, as this little blogger needs to go to bed. ;) I’ve had some ridiculously stressful and busy days at work this week, so time with the family was just what I needed tonight.
After school, Mitch and I took the subway downtown and met my dad at Keat’s. (Erica, remember singing karaoke here on your birthday?!) We then headed over to Palm Too–Dad’s favorite steakhouse in the city–for cocktails with a couple of his friends. (They’ve been going there for years, and know the staff. It’s their heaven. Ultimate father cuteness. Also–highly recommended. Don’t forget to order the creamed spinach!)
After that, we picked up some cupcakes at Magnolia, and made our way to my aunt and uncle’s place on the Upper East for dinner. What a great time. I love my family so much. Lots of laughter, some really great orzo, and fantastic Nespresso. (I’d never had it. Good lord. Hooked.)
The best part? My adorable cousin, Paige, was home from college from spring break, and my mother took the train in to join us! Auntie-M and Uncle Dave, thanks so much for having us. You’re the best, and I love you to pieces!
