Morning, Friend! How was your weekend? We had a great one: we took it easy on Friday night and just binge-watched Stranger Things together, but then we got up early on Saturday and took Emma out to Richardson Farm. (So fun!) Then, on Saturday night, we hosted our annual Halloween party, which was a blast. Can’t wait to take our little lobster (hint, hint) trick-or-treating tomorrow!

By the way, did you read Mitch’s post from yesterday on how to make gingham pumpkins? DYING. I’ll admit that I didn’t think he’d be able to pull it off, but the pumpkins look amazing, and the post itself is hilarious, haha. Mitch, you have so many hidden talents!

But back to today. I thought I’d take a moment to review my absolute favorite booties: The Sam Edelman Petty Chelsea booties. If you’ve been following along for a while now, you probably remember me freaking out about them in years past. I LOVE them, and I’ve yet to find a comfier pair. I also can’t believe that the Petty Chelsea booties are comfier than all other booties (or boots!) I own considering they do have a low heel. Typically, anything that’s flat is better for my feet… but these are the exception. Absolutely no pain or rubbing, and I’ve walked miles in them at a time. (Last week, I walked from Lincoln Park to downtown Chicago and then back!)

They’re insanely versatile, too. I’m wearing them with my favorite jeans here, but since they’re so warm, I also wear them with skirts and dresses (and sheer black tights) when the weather gets cooler. And I should mention how well-made they are. I’ve had a couple of pairs for several years now, and they’ve held up extraordinarily well. Not a single trip to the cobbler.

Side note: Have you seen the Petty waterproof boots?! I haven’t tried them yet, but I’m so intrigued!

If you’re wondering about sizing, I’d say that they run TTS. I have am wearing a size 7.5 here, which is my normal size in flats and boots.

Anyway, I really couldn’t recommend them more! And obviously, they’re available at Nordstrom, because Nordstrom carries everything. I’m relatively certain that if you just order your normal size that the boots will fit perfectly, but just in case they’re a little off, Nordstrom’s customer service can’t be beat. The retailer also offers free shipping and free returns, so there’s zero risk. Even Mitch is a huge Nordstrom fan. ;) The only store he’ll willingly walk through in Chicago! Love it. (See my other favorite Sam Edelman shoes above!)

Over and out. Have a great week!

^Do we like the leaves stuck in my scarf? I’m so put-together. 😜
