Well, Mitch and I went back to Newark Liberty International Airport today. No, not because we enjoy torturing ourselves, but because we needed to use up the last of the vouchers before the cutoff date. We thought–since one voucher was in my name and the other was in Mitch’s name–that we wouldn’t be able to use all the funds, but Delta was wonderful and allowed us to book a single ticket in Mitch’s name for his bachelor party flight! I’m thrilled that we made the most of the vouchers. I love a good deal! ;)
Thank goodness we don’t have to go back to the airport for a while. I’m so done with that place! This morning, I was a little bummed about going again. (Sitting in traffic and waiting in line for a ridiculously long time isn’t my idea of a good time. ;)) So I put a little punch in my outfit. The color–in this case the hot pink pumps (highly recommended–Nike Air cushioning makes them really comfortable), sweater and lipstick–just seems to make me happy!
Something else that makes me happy is thinking about the upcoming weekend. Tomorrow night, we’re going out to for drinks and dinner at a barbecue place in the West Village (my favorite NYC neighborhood), and on Saturday, we’re going to a St. Patrick’s Day-themed “Jack and Jill” bridal shower for our good friends. Super excited about incorporating green into my outfit for that. ;) We have no plans for Sunday… so we’ll likely spend our free day wandering Manhattan, like we always do! Over and out, fashionistas. Six teaching periods away from the weekend! ;)
