Ah, Florida hair ;)
Tuckernuck American Flag Sweater (Generous; do not size up!) / J.Crew Skinny Jeans / Veja Sneakers (Also available here and here.)
We had such a lovely week over here transitioning back into a good routine. I adored Florida, but I’m an admitted homebody, lover of hygge, and fan of slowness. 😉 Last night, Mitch and I put the fire on in the basement—because it works now!—and cozied up on the couch to watch a movie. (Though to be honest, I fell asleep after 10 minutes, so he changed it to something else, haha.)
Tonight, we’re having friends over to watch the basketball game, and tomorrow we’re visiting a museum to get the kids out of the house. Sunday, we’re taking the girls swimming and then Emma has a playdate at a friend’s house. OH! And we have a babysitter for Sunday night because we’re going to a show with friends. So it’ll be a jam-packed, not-so-slow weekend… but I’m excited for it all. :)
Anyway, here are this week’s Recent Finds:
First clothing purchase in a long time! I bought an Alex Mill sweater and while it hasn’t arrived, I’m already in love. I adore the chunky knit, and that it’s reversible! There are buttons down the back, which can also be worn in front as a cardigan. I’m so excited.
Here is the actual cardigan version.
And the cashmere version!
J.McLaughlin always carries the prettiest sandals.
My beloved rug! Mitch recently spilled a bottle of red wine on it, haha, so it’s being sent out for cleaning. Cross your fingers for us.
Easter is coming! How cute are these bunnies?
Wait, I like these more.
Not usually a fan of linen because of the wrinkles, but might make an exception for this one…
HUGE fan of J.Crew’s gauze material, though! This skirt is a huge winner and could be paired with so many cute tops.
Like this one! (For a very matchy-matchy look.)
The longer-sleeved version.
A dainty pearl necklace for a great price.
This is that cotton-cashmere material I adore so much! I love a simple white top that works for both casual and dressier looks.
Random, but these are the hair bows I buy for the girls. They’re gorgeous and make every outfit adorable!
There’s a new Royal Shirt Dress in town!
These nightstands just arrived as part of my collaboration with Birch Lane. I can’t believe how stunning they are!
*Adds to cart.*
A stunning coverup!
This is the light fixture we ordered for Mitch’s office. I think it’s really nice-looking but also kind of manly?!
Currently reading. ^
Our car is always strewn with toys and whatnot. Hoping this organizer—which goes between the carseats—will help maintain the space!
And this car trash can. WE NEED ALL THE HELP.
The girls are obsessed with these huggable night lights. We got one when Lucy started sleeping in her big girl bed, and it’s been such a help!
These are going in their Easter Baskets!
Wearing these personalized sweaters. I die. I hope they love them.
This is the BEST maxi dress. I can’t recommend it enough, and it’s so affordable, from Amazon! My mom loved it so much in Florida that she got one, too. Ridiculously soft and cozy, and can be dressed up or down. A basic but also a staple!
My favorite Hill House dress ever.
My sister-in-law wore this Amazon dress in Florida and she looked STUNNING in it. Works for maternity, too!
Another killer Amazon find!
Okay, I’m on an Amazon roll here. This moisturizer is pricey, but good lord, but it cure dry skin. And a little goes a long way! It’s one the ways I get through Chicago winters.
Amazon Kids’ find. SO CUTE, right?!
I know I keep featuring these Amazon spice jars but they bring me SO much joy, haha. They’re so affordable and look just like the $100+ versions!
Have patchy eyebrows like I do? Fill in the gaps with this pencil! It’s MAGIC.
Oh, yes. This skirt will be on repeat all spring/summer long for me!
Love this maxi.
The perfect navy-and-white transitional dress, paired with sneakers.
And this tote?!
Clearly I can’t wait for warmer weather. As the freezing cold rain falls outside my window…
These are apparently super soft! Great sandals for playgrounds. :)
Love a simple white sweatshirt and jeans for spring.
Still very much into the black and white clothing right now.
See? ;)
