Hope and Henry Blue Swimsuit (Love it in the pink gingham, too!) / Mud Pie Pink Seersucker Swimsuit and Hat / Mud Pie Crab Swimsuit

In Florida, Emma had this one spot by the pool that was her absolute favorite. In the morning, she’d knock on the door that led from the screened-in porch to the backyard, indicating that she needed to assume her position–right by the steps. It was perfect for dipping her toes into the water, and perfect for when she wanted to get a little more adventurous and “swim” with Mommy or Daddy. Which is why all these photos were snapped in the exact same location, haha! ;)

I brought three suits to Naples for Emma–this blue striped number, this seersucker one, and this crab suit–but I wish I’d packed more, as we spent every day in the water! I suppose it was just difficult for me to comprehend that we’d be beach- and poolside regularly, considering it was something like 10 degrees when we left Chicago. (Always hard to believe that the weather will be, in fact, warm when we’re on vacation!)

Anyway, I should probably apologize for the crazy number of Florida posts this past month, and for the crazy number of Bahamas posts you’ll see in the next month. It’s very difficult to take photos in Chicago this time of the year, as it’s absolutely freezing, and I don’t want to subject my family or myself to that kind of torture on a regular basis. ;) So I’m thinkin’ I just need to own it.

How much longer can Kelly stretch out this Florida trip?!

Pretty sure I only have one post left: the house tour post. But STAY TUNED. 😂

Either way, I hope you enjoy these cute photos of Emma in three of my favorite suits. We’re headed somewhere warm in May, so I can’t WAIT to go swimsuit shopping for her again! (Do you have any favorites?! Huge fan of gingham and stripes here, in case you haven’t noticed, haha.)
