Powder Room Glow-Up (+ Sale Preview!)

There’s not much about the word transformation that suggests easy, but I love a good glow-up that doesn’t uproot lives and empty bank accounts! Doesn’t it feel like you’re beating the system?! (I must note here, however, that the system almost always beats me.)

This was the case with our powder room. When we bought the house, the bathroom looked like this. ^ It didn’t even come up in house project conversations between Mitch and me since it was absolutely fine and (almost) 100-percent functional. Sure, the cherry wood was a little dated, but its only issues were that the door was misaligned and wouldn’t lock, and it had a miniature toilet. (Super weird. It was a very, very small toilet.) Though who has any privacy with toddlers around anyway? And the mini toilet was honestly kind of nice because it meant our toddlers could easily potty train!

When the girls got a little older, though, we decided it was time to replace the mini toilet and tackle the door, since it was aa tad embarrassing for all parties involved. But then—and I’m sure a lot of you can relate—things snowballed and I found myself looking at vanities and wallpaper on Wayfair, ha! In short, thank goodness Wayfair exists. I got nearly everything came from the retailer on sale, and nearly everything is still available, too!
