One of the best-kept secrets about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that right before it starts, the normal sale section gets REALLY good. It’s during this time that I’ve been able to make some major scores. It’s definitely worth looking over!
In this post, I’m highlighting a few favorite shoes and accessories. (Sale clothing will go up on the blog tomorrow!) But before I do that, a little information about the Anniversary Sale:
Why is it so awesome?
Because all the inventory is NEW. It’s Fall ’19 stuff, so this is an amazing opportunity to buy current pieces at a huge discount. So many of friends and family members do all their fall wardrobe shopping during the sale since the savings are so significant. (Up to 50 percent off!)
What are the important dates?
July 9th: Cardholders with “Icon” status can shop early in-store. (Status, btw, is achieved by how much you spend on your Nordstrom card. Learn more here.)
July 10th – 11th: Cardholders with “Ambassador” status can also now shop early in-store.
July 11th; Icons and Ambassadors can shop early online.
July 12th – 18th: All Nordstrom cardholders gain “Early Access” to shop in-store and online.
July 19th – August 4th: Public Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
August 5th: Prices go back up.
A few favorite shoes and accessories that you can shop now:
#3 and #18: I’m obsessed with Patricia Green sandals. The leather is insanely soft and the shoe itself is unbelievably comfortable. I once walked five miles in my scalloped sandals and experienced zero discomfort. Can’t recommend the line more! (Note: I go up a half size in PG sandals.)
#7: I couldn’t live without my Sperrys. ;) These are the classic topsiders, and every preppy gal should have ’em in her closet! They run totally TTS.
#24: The Kate Spade initial necklace is something everyone should have! I love mine. (I also love Mark and Graham’s version, which you should consider, too. Both are super affordable!) This makes for a *wonderful* gift, btw. Personalized and so meaningful!
#4: Cole Haan shoes are well-known for comfort, and because of that, they’re my go-to shoe brand for staples. A pair of nude pumps are essential, and I love the bow on this pair.
#5: These classic brown slides are such a steal! A goes-with-everything shoe, for sure.
