Believe me: I only recently decided to ditch the yoga pants and stop wallowing 24/7. But I think we all know how how much power there is in getting dressed every morning, and therefore I’m here today to share a bunch of easy outfits that you can put together in a snap. I can almost guarantee that your motivation, productivity and overall outlook will improve if you at least put jeans on! :)
I should also note that J.Crew is currently offering 40 percent off the entire site when you use code “SPRING,” and Factory is offering up to 70 percent off and free shipping with code “WOWDEALS.” So if you’re in need of more casual staples while adjusting to that quarantine life, or you’re looking for some stuff that’ll make you look acceptable for video conferences, this is a great time to get a deal.
Okay, here we go!
My most-worn outfit.
This top is a staple for me! It’s so soft, warm and cozy.
Ribbed Turtleneck (Love this striped one, too. If you’re looking for a lighter turtleneck for spring, the Tissue Turtleneck and the Perfect Fit Turtleneck are awesome.) / Camel Blazer / High-Rise Toothpick Jeans / Laney Pumps
Can’t get enough of that monochromatic white look.
This is not my best, haha. But these jeans are a win.
I’ve been wearing a version of this outfit since college.
Camel Boots (On sale!) / Madewell Jeans (This similar pair is great, too.) / Leopard Tote (Smaller version here. HA! Going nowhere.) / RAILS Shirt (So many are on sale right now!) / Similar Cardigan Here and Here
RAILS shirts: Worth the investment. Ignore the bag. I’m going nowhere.
Great blouse if you have kids! Really can’t stain it, haha.
Super basic for days when you’re feeling particularly panicky.
Tuck in your sweater: Instantly look chic.
Dudleys on days when you need the extra comfort, or it’s freezing and your husband isn’t letting you turn up the heat to 85 degrees. What? It would be nice.
Great for video conferences. You can then take off the blazer and chuck it across the room.
Sorry. Had to show you what I looked like for the first week, because this was it. ;)
Another top that you can’t really wrinkle or stain. Go for it, Lucy. Have at it. Oh yeah, and the headband always makes me feel put-together.
One of my all-time favorite tops and I think it’s $24 today?!
Another version of that outfit. Black jeans, chambray shirt, leopard shoes = boom. You’re good.
I’m sad that this top is selling out because it’s my favorite going out top. Not that anyone’s going out. So I guess it doesn’t matter. Let’s move on…
Everyone needs the sweater blazer. If you don’t have it yet, you don’t know what you’ve been missing. Runs very big. I went down two sizes but I’d recommend going down at LEAST one.
I LOVE THE CAMO ROTHY’S. Very unlike me, no? Of course, I only pair them with very bland outfits… but I feel like they give me some edge and I could use some edge these days.
Texture & Thread is my favorite collection from Madewell! It’s perfect for cozy days. I’m actually wearing this outfit as I type this blog post.
And if you haven’t heard me gush about these jeans yet, GUYS. THEY’RE AMAZING. They feel a little bit like sweatpants. Very soft and cozy, as the name suggests. Huge fan!
