Taking photos with a baby in tow is hysterical. We ended up with a grand total of three photos for this outfit, but boom. No one got hurt, and we did it! 😆
Anyway, I quickly wanted to highlight super comfy J.Crew’s knit pencil skirts–available in the rugby stripe you see here and a navy-and-white stripe as well. Definitely a fun alternative to the typical midi skirt, and a casual twist on the traditional pencil skirt usually worn in work environments. I tried mine with a bunch of different tops and ended up liking a simple white tee the best! (If you’re looking for sizing advice, I took my regular. TTS.)
In other news, Mitch and I were sitting on the front stoop a few nights ago late at night, and a woman stopped to say hi to our plastic topiary dachshund and tell him how cute he was. It was dark and it was clear that she and her husband had had a few glasses of wine, but yeah, haha. Very proud of ourselves for stifling our laughter until she rounded the corner. Made our week. 😜
