J.Crew Utility Jacket (Madewell versions here and here.)/ Madewell Jeans (Super soft! Also love these and these.) / Button Sweater (Wearing a size XS. Also ADORE this ruffle sweater. Took that in a small. This cream pointelle sweater is gorgeous, too.) / Tretorn Sneakers (Also available at Tuckernuck; you can have them monogrammed with them!) / Baby Jogger Stroller
I walked Lucy over to the Lincoln Park Zoo Wednesday morning to decompress and distract myself for a bit, and it was so helpful. Chicago has been graced with some gorgeous weather this week, and I swear the gods just knew we needed it. 😉
I wore this utility jacket, which has been on repeat for me. It’s so good. There are a lot of utility jackets on the market right now, but this one knocks all of them out of the park. It’s amazingly soft, the length is perfect, and there are pockets galore—perfect for strollin’ moms who don’t want to bring along a bag. I also love that I can throw it on over whatever variation of my weekday “uniform” (jeans and a sweater) I’m wearing. In terms of sizing, I’d say it’s generous but not oversized. I typically order a size 2 in J.Crew coats and jackets, and I’m wearing a size XS here.
I should also note that TUCKERNUCK IS NOW MONOGRAMMING THE TRETORN SNEAKERS. They’re ridiculously cute. (Also available at Zappos though not monogrammed.) They’re like walking on clouds. Highly recommend; I went up a half size in mine.
What have you been doing to get your mind off things?! Please share. I need the suggestions, haha.
