CLOSED: Congratulations to Lauren B., Emmie C., Amy J. T., Cristina W., Katelyn C., and Karissa S.!

I picked out a few styles that will be included in the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale, which is currently live (!), and they came yesterday. So tonight, I’m reviewing them and giving away five products!

I’m planning on taking the Sloane Maxi Dress with me to Florida in a couple of weeks because they both work perfectly with the baby bump. But I don’t truly need everything that Lilly graciously sent over, so I thought it would be nice to send a good amount of it out to you guys. (Will also give away the Sloane–washed, of course–after I get back from Florida if you don’t think that’s weird!) Obviously the sizes of these products aren’t going to work for everyone, but I’m also hosting a $500 giveaway to shop the sale, so be sure to enter that, too. :)

To enter to win one of the products I’m wearing in the photos or featuring below, simply:

  1. Comment on this blog post with one product you’re loving from the new Lilly Pulitzer collection.
  2. Leave your email in the following non-spammy format so I can get in touch with you: Kelly [at] gmail [dot] com.

That’s it! Winners will be announced on Tuesday, which will be the last day of the sale. Good luck. :)

Elba Sweater (Stripes here!)

Elba Sweater (Stripes here!)

$108 normally, $49 during the sale

Giving this one away! It’s a size medium. It runs large.

Review: Just added this sweater to the giveaway because Lilly sent it over yesterday! I loved the fit of it so much that I actually ordered it in the navy striped version, and I plan on taking that to FL in a couple of weeks! I will sat that it runs large, so you might want to consider ordering down one size. And try pairing it with leggings, as tighter pants complement a looser top. :)

Hollee Dress

Hollee Dress

$108 normally, $49 during the sale

Giving this one away! It’s a size medium. If I weren’t pregnant, I would order a size down. (For reference, I normally wear a size 34A bra, a size small in most tops, and a size 25 in jeans/pants. Not a huge fan of tight-fitting clothing with the exception of jeans, which I prefer plastered to my body, haha.)

Review: LOVE! It’s 100-percent Pima Cotton, so it doesn’t wrinkle like a normal cotton dress would and it feels cool to the touch. It has a bit of a higher neckline than the below Beacon T-Shirt Dress, and a really cute (high) cutout in the back that still allows you to wear a bra. The dress looks short on the model, but it’s not short on me at all–just above the knee. This is a great everyday dress, but I love that you could throw on some cute strappy wedge sandals and wear it out at night, too! Runs TTS.

Giving this one away, too! It’s a size medium. If I weren’t pregnant, I would order a size down. Entry details will be posted in a few hours.

Review: This one has a very similar cut and fit to the above Hollee Dress, but it’s slightly shorter and has a lower and wider neckline. I have a bunch of these and really do live in them during the summer! Super flattering and easy to wear… and I love that it has sleeves yet keeps me cool when it’s super hot. Runs TTS.

Essie Maxi Dress

$148 normally, $59 during the sale

Another one I’m giving away. It’s a size small, but would definitely fit a size small, too.

(I would order the same size when not pregnant as well. If I were 8 or 9 months pregnant, though, I might order one size up for extra room in the stomach area.)

Review: Obsessed! Like I said a couple of days ago, the Essie cut–which has been used for tops and shorter dresses, too– is one of the most flattering Lilly pieces ever. It works great for all body types, as it’s both forgiving and slimming. (Magic cut, I tell you!) This one is also made of a t-shirt material, so you’ll get a ton of wear out of it during the summer. It’s yet another everyday dress that can also be dressed up. Runs TTS. (Note that this is a dress that works extremely well for pregnancy, too. Since there re buttons down the front, it’s very functional once you have the baby as well. I’m actually wearing an Essie in these photos!

PS: I don’t need to wear wedges with this one. I’m almost 5’5.

Sloane Maxi Dress

Lilly Pulitzer 2019 After Party Sale

Sloane Maxi Dress

$198 normally, $74 during the sale

Happy to give this one away after Florida if you’re interested! It’s a size small. I would order the same size when not pregnant, too. Makes ordering super easy! If I were 8 or 9 months pregnant, though, I might order one size up for extra room in the bust area.

Review: My favorite out of everything Lilly sent! It’s gorgeous, and I love the blue.

This is another one of those dresses that looks good on EVERYONE. Again, it’s a t-shirt material, so it can be dressed up or down… and the empire waist cut is extremely flattering. (Falls in just the right way.) This is my #1 dress to wear while pregnant, and I normally scour eBay for them! This is must-have, pregnant or not. It runs TTS, and my usual size works for while I’m pregnant or not. At the very end of my pregnancy, I might order one size up, though.

PS: I do need to wear wedges with this, as it’s a little long on me. I’m almost 5’5.

UPF 50+ Skipper Printed Popover

UPF 50+ Skipper Printed Popover

$108 normally, probably around $50 during the sale

Giving this one away, too! It’s a size medium. I wear one size down when not pregnant.

Review: Have loved the Skipper Popover line for a long, long time. First, it features UPF 50+, which every girl–vampire or not–can appreciate. Second, there’s some spandex in it, making it super soft, flattering and less prone to wrinkles. (Can you tell how much I hate ironing? Ha!) Third, I love how the collar pops. Adorable. Fourth, I’m so excited that it looks good with the bump, too! Runs TTS. Normally, when I’m not pregnant, I order the small, which gives me a nice “vacationy” and relaxed look. In Florida, though, I’ll be wearing this in a medium.

Other faves:

The Stella Shift: (It’s linked both here and here, just in case one listing is sold out. It’s also pictured above!) This is definitely my favorite Lilly dress in my closet. I love that it’s simple yet has some adorable detailing down the sides; those bows at the very bottom are the cutest! I almost always pack this dress for vacations because it doesn’t wrinkle as easily as my cotton dresses. Couldn’t recommend it more! Because it’s flowy, do not size up. (But I also wouldn’t recommend sizing down.) Order your usual size!

The Bay Dress: I can’t tell you how often I wore this dress this past summer. The fabric is a bit more substantial than regular t-shirt dresses, but the material keeps you cool even on hot summer days. If you look closely, you can see that the stripes are actually tiny scallops! I have this dress in a size small, and it’s perfect. (XS hugged my body a bit too much.) Oh! And take a look at the back. Can still wear a bra since the twisty cut-out is so high up!

The Striped Skipper Dress, Gray Skipper Dress, or the Navy Skipper Dress: I was most excited to see this dress in the sail. I LOVE Lilly’s line of skipper popovers and dresses, and my eye had been on this one for the longest time! Sizing: Runs slightly large, but it is intended to look that way. (I order an XS when I’m not pregnant.)

The Elsa Top or Printed Elsa Top: WHAT?! Solid silk Elsa tops are rarely included in the sale, so be sure to take advantage. This is one of the most versatile tops I own; can be dressed up or down. The blue is my favorite! Runs slightly large, but only because it’s supposed to be flowy. I always order an XS because of that.

The Essie Dress: Remember how I was talking about how much I love the Essie line? It’s probably Lilly’s most flattering cut.

The Gingham Halter Dress or The Gingham Ardleigh Dress: When Lilly comes out with gingham line, you do a happy dance. When Lilly puts said line on sale, you pounce!

Luxletic Leggings: THE SOFTEST LEGGINGS. I travel in them, take long strolls in them, and even sleep in them. I only have one pair but it might be time for a second…

Jessica Short-Sleeved T-Shirt Dress: I don’t know about you guys, but I have tons of fancier dresses and simply not enough very casual daytime dresses to get me through the summer. This one comes in one of my favorite prints!

Elba Sweater: This sweater has been super popular for a while now, and for good reason! It hangs in just the right way and looks adorable with skinny jeans. I love the navy and the camel, but you really can’t go wrong! Size down; it runs large.

Gabby Shift Dress: My mom SWEARS by this dress. Isn’t it stunning? Certainly a number you could wear to a spring or summer wedding. This one is gorgeous! (Runs TTS; do not order down, though. It’s fitted.)

Harper Shift Dress: GREAT dress. I have it in a bunch of different colors/patterns because it’s so insanely comfy. Its material is almost terry-like, but the detailing makes it look polished. I wear this in the summer whenever I’m not sure what the vibe will be. Works both ways! TTS.

And don’t forget to enter the $500 giveaway to shop tomorrow’s sale.
