Private Bermudian Beach

Seersucker Wrap (Sadly, it’s old. But I have and absolutely adore this striped sarong as well, and I couldn’t recommend it more! You’ll see it in an upcoming blog post. I love this one, this one and this one, too.) / Ruched One Piece Bathing Suit (Here’s the Long Torso Version, which I’m wearing in these photos!) / Similar Sunglasses / Emma’s Rash Guard Two Piece Set / Mitch’s Seersucker Swimsuit and Lighthouse Polo

I’m SO excited about today’s blog post. Because this is kind of insane–in the best possible way.

The Hamilton Princess has its own private beach. (iiiiii know!) Guests are transported via a pink (pink!) jitney that leaves the hotel frequently throughout the day, which is super easy. And when you arrive, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff members who explain what the club has to offer.

First of all, I have to point out how immaculate the beach is. The staff does an amazing job keeping things clean and tidy! Second, there’s so much to do, and everything you could possibly need is there for you. If you prefer to lounge or sleep, there are padded beach chairs and umbrellas everywhere–and each chair comes with a button you can press in case you’d like to order food or drinks. (Or anything else!) There’s a giant, beautiful children’s playground, complete with all the toys a child could ever want… and there are tons of beach toys for adults, too. My favorite was the stand-up paddle boards. I could have spent hours out on those things! We also took Emma out on a big kayak, which was something I’ll always remember. Oh, and there’s the cutest restaurant on the premises, so we didn’t have to bring lunch!

Normally, going to the beach is a little bit of a hassle. I LOVE it, but with a kid, there’s just so much to remember, and I often feel overwhelmed and stressed at the mere thought of a beach day. The Hamilton made everything so easy, though, and I can honestly say that it was the best beach day our family has ever had. Heck, we didn’t even have to carry towels!

In terms of what I wore, get ready to see this bathing suit (long torso version here) on the reg. I love it because it’s not completely matronly, yet it’s forgiving in the stomach area and stays in place–thus allowing me to play with Emma without worrying about things coming out of place. ;) Sadly, my seersucker sarong is old. But I have and absolutely adore this striped sarong as well, and I wear it all the time! You’ll see it in an upcoming blog post. I love this one, this one and this one, too.

While the photos don’t do the private  bermudian beach justice, I had to share! :)
