DRESSBAR Dress (c/o) / Henri Bendel Tote (c/o — Have you seen the new colors?!) / C.Wonder Pumps (Old, similar here, here and here) / J.Crew Bracelet and Pearl Earrings
Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays, as my parents made it so special when I was little. It was the perfect excuse for my mother to decorate the house in bunnies (her favorite animal), serve chocolate at every meal, and dress her children in coordinating outfits. Think: jumpers, bonnets, knee socks, white patent leather Mary Janes, and collared dresses. I remember feeling like a princess in those dresses!
And the baskets. Mom put a ton of time and thought into them, and Dad put a ton of time into hiding them, haha. One year, I think it seriously took me two hours to find mine. (It was in the washing machine.)
A bit has changed since then. But I still look forward to Easter dresses every year. And I have such a cute one for the weekend’s festivities. Good thing, because I have three Easter celebrations to attend!
It’s the Ombre Floral Pocket Dress, designed by Carmen Marc Valvo for the dressbarn’s DRESSBAR—a new collection of affordable designer dresses from Valvo, Heidi Weisel and Michael Smaldone. I mean, a blue-and-white floral dress with pockets?! I’m in love.
I also love that this is a dress I’ll be able to wear again and again this spring and summer, whether to graduations, showers or weddings. Need a dress for an upcoming event, too? Other favorites include this blue scalloped dress, this white cutout dress, this navy-and-white striped dress, and this sheath dress!
