Mitch and I are supposed to be in Charleston this week, but our travel plans fell through at the last minute. We were pretty bummed about it at first, as we’d been looking forward to the trip for a long time, and really wanted to go away for Mitch’s spring break. UNTIL WE REALIZED THE MAGNIFICENCE OF THE EXTENDED STAYCATION.

Holy goodness. We’ve been having such a good week! We’ve been spending time at my inlaws’ beautiful lake house (where these photos were taken), sleeping in, exploring Chicago, attending blogging events, taking Noods on long walks, catching up on projects, hanging out with friends, and… well, staying out late. (Which is why my posts have been going up late, haha.) To see what we’ve been up to, scroll to the bottom of this post!

(Oh! And thank you SO MUCH for all the hair advice. I chopped off a few inches, had it layered and lowlighted, and am now using Aveda shampoo/conditioner and Keratin products. We’ll see how it goes!)
