Hold up, everyone. Yesterday was magical. Thunderstorms came and went all day, but temperatures were in the 70s… and all the Chicago shops and restaurants opened their windows and doors. And I wore a skirt to dinner with my girlfriends.
And what a cute skirt, I might add. I found it about a week ago at LOFT when Blair and I went shopping on Michigan Avenue. We actually had to delay our lunch plans because we were having so much fun! The store is huge, and offers two floors of so much preppy goodness. I went in dead set on purchasing this scalloped number–or this one, because come on–but ended up falling in love with the majority of the store. Between the two of us, I’m pretty sure Blair and I had a good 30 items in our dressing rooms! Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see. ;)
I think the best part of the morning, though, was how friendly and down-to-earth the staff was. They offered up opinions, located extra sizes, and joked around with us the whole time–and really made the experience. The next time you’re in Chicago, you have to visit LOFT’s Michigan Avenue location, located at 664 Michigan. Couldn’t recommend it more!
