Today I’m feeling tired, overwhelmed, and just generally down in the dumps. I can’t even put my finger on a reason why. Maybe it was the unexpected snowstorm that covered New York City in a blanket of slush today. Or maybe it was the fact that we were understaffed, and things were beyond chaotic. Or maybe it’s that our apartment is a wreck, my email inbox is about to combust, and I’ve committed to one too many events after work this week. (Again. I never learn.) Or maybe it’s simply because it’s Monday. (It’s now technically Tuesday, so huzzah!)
Thank you–even if we’ve never interacted–for always listening. While I may not know every one of you personally, it’s comforting that someone out there might be able to identify with whatever it is I’m babbling on and on about. Even if it’s just about a boring, old, crummy day in the dead of winter. It means a lot.
I’ll be sure to check back in tomorrow with a much brighter outlook on life. ;)
