I’m completely loving all the bow-adorned flats out for spring right now. So clearly I’m breaking them out a little early. ;) My absolute favorite bow flats on the market are obviously the Kate Spade “Tock” flats (specifically in rose gold), but for now I’ll settle for the J.Crew Factory Emery flats (arguably just as cute!), which I snagged on major sale a a month ago. They’re the more affordable version of the original J.Crew Viv bow flats, now sold out.
Ah, the J.Crew bubble necklace. It was a wardrobe staple last summer, but I’m ready to break it out again! It might not be warm yet, but I’m a strong believe in the idea that every outfit needs a pop of color, especially during the gray months! For anyone who hasn’t tried the bubble necklace, it’s such a fun piece. When you first put it on, its size is a bit overwhelming, and it can a little noisy, especially if you’re not someone who sits at a desk all day. Sometimes I need to hold on to it as I walk briskly down the hallway at work, but I feel like it’s worth it. It’s so fun! And, as always, J.Crew comes through for the more frugal shopper (i.e., me) with the resin droplet necklace, in a variety of colors. And if you’re going to go over the top with your necklace, you might as well go over the top with your arm candy! Today I’m wearing two J.Crew Factory bracelets (can’t get enough of Factory), a Forever 21 strand of pearls, and a Kate Spade turquoise watch, all on major sale. (Sensing a pattern here? My feeling is that you should never pay full price for anything. You know, unless you’re completely in love with it… because I must admit: I’ve done it once or twice. ;)) My Seven for All Mankind “Roxanne” boyfriend jeans are a RueLaLa super sale item. They’re technically the “slim leg” fit, but I guess I bought them too large (I always do that with jeans), so I’m calling them my boyfriend jeans. ;)
