Happy Spring, my Favorite Ladies! So happy to officially be entering the season today, and so happy that it’s Sunday and Mitch is off. More galavanting around the city! ;)
Thus far, the weekend has been a lot of fun. Maya came over on Friday, and we all had dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant and then had dessert at Knife and Tine. (SO GOOD! The atmosphere is incredible in there, and the desserts are fabulous. You have to go. Dad: Super tall ceilings! Ha.) Yesterday, I helped Jess get ready for an exciting trip she’s taking, and then Mitch and I got all dressed up and attended an Easter-themed afternoon tea at The Waldorf. (With Maya. Duh.)
Sorry for swiping your champagne for this shot, Maya. ;)
I’ll be putting together a full post on that soon, but I can’t recommend it enough. The “high tea service,” which is being served from March 19th through March 26th from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., features sweet and savory treats such as spring vegetable tarts, asparagus bundles, hot cross buns and lemon macarons. The food is paired with a selection of freshly-brewed loose leaf teas from Rare Tea Cellar. And you can even order champagne! Mom, we totally need to go when you’re in Chicago.
As for the top I’m wearing in these photos, it’s from Bell Collection, and I’m obsessed with it. I seriously wore it three times last week because it’s so flattering and comfortable. I’ll be wearing it sans outerwear later in the week so you’ll be able to see more of it, but just take my word for it: the sleeves. Beyond cute! Other favorites from Bell include The Natalie, The Julia and The Blue Ivory Dress.
As for the raincoat, it’s BACK! It’s available here, too, and in navy here. I also love this version and this version, and here’s a cheaper option! Get ready to see a LOT of this little number over the next few weeks, because I can’t survive spring without it.
In other news, I have SUCH exciting posts scheduled for the next couple of days… so be sure to tune back in tomorrow morning! Eeeeee!
