We spent yesterday in our backyard.
It may not have been like Memorial Days of the past, but it was 85 degrees and sunny (in Chicago!), and nap times even aligned at one point so we could kick back and enjoy some much-needed adult conversation. ;)
It was also really nice to be able to think about, talk about and remember our country’s fallen.
We’re grateful to all those who gave their lives so that we could have ours. ♥️
As we start this new (short!) week, I feel a little more refreshed than I usually do these days. What did you guys do over the long weekend? If anyone has anything a bit more interesting or exciting to share (😂), I’d LOVE to hear!
