Here goes nothing!
Just kidding. We still have a couple of weeks before school starts, so we’re just over here planning, ordering and organizing all the essentials. (Supplies list post coming soon.)
Today, though, I want to introduce you to a new-to-me brand called Wonder Nation, carried at Walmart, where you can find everything a kid could possibly need for the new school year. The clothing is adorable–just look at Emma!–and the prices are amazing. (Said peter pan collar dress is only $7.88 and eligible for Next- or Two-Day Free Delivery. Like, what?) Yes, a lot of the products are marketed as school uniform pieces, but they also make for fantastic classic basics for kids with more lackadaisical dress codes. Emma owns Emma, this collared shirt, this cardigan and this ruffled tunic (great with leggings). The grand total of everything? Only $41.88. Unheard of!
Emma’s butterfly backpack also came from Wonder Nation. Of course, she informed me yesterday that she would actually like an Elsa backpack, haha. (Full story on Instagram.) But considering the butterfly one was only $9.98, I’m not too upset over it. She needs a new gym backpack anyway! (Her current one took quite the beating this year, and the top of it is ripped.) But yeah: definitely check out Wonder Nation’s selection of toddler backpacks. So. Cute. (See more styles above!)
Anyway, I can’t get over how big Emma looks in these photos, which we took on a walk to “see” her new school. (Favorite thing to do these days: go to the school and say hi to it. So sweet.) And as hard as it is to leave the baby stage behind, I just can’t wait to see how she grows at pre-k! I know it’s going to be an incredible year. :)
Next up on the back-to-school docket is Emma’s school supplies list. Stay tuned!
